Feedback:

Horrible!!!!. Rude and unfriendly!!! Set up account online. Did not hear from bank. Went in to check on account, get debit card, etc. Teller did not know what to do after typing into keyboard for 10 minutes. They had me wait 20 minutes. Manager came out and sent me into room with a tele-banker. Tele banker thought I was there for new account and had to explain again that I set up online. Tele - banker set up account after typing in her keyboard for another 10 minutes. Had to explain again why I was there and show proof that Verve took the funds already to set up account. Added wife to account same day. Received proof as well. Tele banker and bank manager promised wife could come in and sign and get her card, that the forms will be at tellers desk. Went in with wife two days later. After teller typed in her keyboard for five minutes asked to wait for manager. No record of her on account. Waited another 10 minutes for manager. Had to explain again why I was there again and that she was on account and that not only he and tele banker promised form would be ready at teller to sign and get debit card. The staff was very rude, no sorry for confusion or delay. So glad I realized early what poor service they provide.

Feedback:

Quick, Fast, and very helpful with all my newbie questions.

Great staff that's always willing to help you out.Have been treated very well here and have been considering switching all of my accounts over to them.Plus, you've always got things to think about while standing in line... like Aaron Rodgers.

Are you a business looking for a credit union or bank? Look elsewhere! My card is flagged multiple times a week by their fraud team on regular vendors I use. Over and over and over. They don't call, they don't contact me in any way, simply put a block on my card. Then I get to call, ask them to remove the flag, half the time it doesn't work and I have to call the vendor tell them to try the card, it doesn't go thru, call verve back, call vendor back.... They straight up told me nothing they can do anything, it's their processor, they have an insurance policy to flags certain transactions, like any transaction made out of state.... Not an issue for an individual but if you are a business this is a joke. So because they went with the cheap processor it's not their fault. LOL

Feedback:

I absolutely love this bank so much! Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. I am so thankful I switched my banking over to them!

Feedback:

Have used Verve for my personal banking, loans, and business. They are always very helpful. Verve offers all the benefits of a "big bank", but with a personalized touch, and with none of the extra fees! Big shout out to Marcus, Becky, Cherie, Lisa, and Lori!

We decided to buy a new (used) car for under $15,000. Verve offered lower interest rates than our bank so we called them... They immediately went in to the loan info process. OK, So my husband and I have the same credit score of about 810, we have quite a bit of equity in our home, we have 3 vehicles that we owe nothing on, money in the bank, ((NOT 1)) late payment, about $50,000 in available credit and OH YEAH, (besides our house) we have ZERO debt, (recently worked very hard and over a 2 year period we paid off about $15,000-$20,000 debt). With all of that said; We are both self employed and our income is low. (We use 100% of our tax write offs). So after asking the lady on the phone if our low income would effect the outcome of loan approval, she she "It's fine". (I'm sure most of you reading this already realize what I'm about to say); Yes. After doing the entire car-loan shuffle, with tax returns and verification's we got denied for the loan, and yes. part of the reason I am writing this review is because my ego is hurt... We haven't been denied for a loan in 10 years. We KILL ourselves making sure we never have a late payment and paid off ALL of our debt, so yes. It hurts. A LOT. The worst part; They wouldn't call us back... We had to call several times over 2 days to get a response and finally we get someone on the phone and the guy tells me; You should try somewhere like a car lot "where they won't verify your income". SO, if you have excellent credit, perfect payment history, ZERO debt, and equity Verve might not be the place for you to get a car loan.

REVISED: I am including a text message I received from Matthew today. He does not sound at all remorseful for what he has done and included a threat of the legal action from the bank. If any legal action is to take place it should be on our part due to the nature of this invasion! It’s evident Verves IT tech, Matthew isn’t taking responsibility. And Verve has not reached out to resolve this matter. This was done on a company computer, during work hours on Verve property! So the threat of legal action is in my opinion just another way to overlook the severity of this situation the way they are handling this is alarming and has to be brought to the attention of customers present and future. Again, this alone shows the company has not held the employee responsible and they do not take any person other except theirs and their employees best interests into consider. WHAT ANOUT THE PEOPLE THIS HARMED? The employee can hide behind the company because Verve is not holding him or themselves accountable for his actions! I do not bank with Verve and I would advise others look for a more trustworthy credit union when it comes to security and your information.Verve has an employee named Matthew Wieting. Matthews title is IT TECH at Verve . He works at the Oshkosh, Brillion and Menasha branches. The following information has put great stress on my son and his thinking his identification has been or could be used in a way that could affect his great credit score. Therefore my son has placed a stolen identification alert on his credit report.Matthew has access to highly sensitive information and has literally used his access to this information for a personal reason.I had a family issue and Matthew knew about it. Matthew took it upon himself to unethically use his access and try to gain information about my son as well as look for money my son had in a bank account!Matthew was trusted in my home and took information from here and acted on his own to try to access my sons information without being asked, told or it being apart of his job! He abuses his prescription medication taking and buys pills from others (I will try to upload text messages proving the conversations or texts I had Received from him)When I found out Matt did this I called his supervisor and received a call from someone at Verve (I cannot remember her title) But she was in charge of the I department and basically nothing was done about it therefore I had placed a review on here about the situation. I then received text messages from Matthew stating his supervisor is going to try to get it removed through the legal department. I Don’t understand how anyone can attempt to have a review deleted. it’s the truth so they should not be able to do that. My point is Matthew was not disciplined or reprimanded! This is a serious situation! I would never bank with a financial institution who does not do anything to keep YOUR INFORMATION SECURE FROM PEOPLE LIKE MATTHEW! They had a meeting about what he did and that was all!!!!! Matthew had looked my son up not once but twice! And a bank/credit union is suppose to keep you from IDENTITY THEFT THAN WHY IS an EMPLOYEE NOT REPRIMANDED FOR THE UNETHICAL, IRRESPONSIBLE actions he took? The only serious attention this situation received was when I placed a review about it . Apparently they proceeded on trying to Have it removed. I still do not know what intentions Matt had with accessing my sons information. If he was BEING NOSY OR If he was going to MOVE Some OF my SONS MONEY! I did express that concern to his employer but it SEEMS THIS WAS NOT TAKEN SERIOUSLY!Save yourself headaches people... bank elsewhere! It’s alway better to be safe than soRry or put through the ringer due to VERVES negligence on protecting anyone and everyone who banks with them OR DOESNT BANK WITH THEM. VERVE HAS A RESPONSIBILITY To have TRUSTWORTHY EMPLOYEESI caution those who are an existing Or prospective CUSTOMER TO TAKE PRECAUTIONS!

Feedback:

Overall a good place for banking, some room for improvement in the app and online aspects, but pleased with the services in general.
