Won’t do shades branching any more. Twinstar members can’t bank outside of a few locations. Yuck!

#1 I had a credit card from tcu and a auto loan, i defaulted on the credit card and filed bankruptcy, i paid off the 5 year auto loan for $25,000, they sent me closing statements and what should have been my title but no title was returned, they said that do to defaulting on a separate credit card loan that they would not release the title until the credit card i filed bankruptcy on was paid, i think that is bad business and illegal but they said if i read the first line on my credit card app, it says if you default on this credit card, anything we have of yours will be held until the loan is paid.I did get the title back but it took 10 years to do so and only after i ask them which one of there parking lots do they want me to tow there expedition to.#2 I have a home loan with them of 45,000, we pay on time most of time, i owe 9,000 at this time, and i cant count how many times they send me threatening letters saying if i dont pay now, they will forclose on us, we pay on time most of the time if not then we definitely pay before the 15 day grace period ends which but thats only happened a handful of times in 23 years, they will do anything to steal your house if they can, it dont matter if your 1 cent short, you will still get the foreclosure letter, so unprofessional.#3 We paid our home loan and flood insurance payment last week, we paid more than what was due so the teller put the extra on the flood insurance , then last week i get a phone call telling me i am behind 15 cents and i need to come in and pay asap, well we said we would come in the next day but decided to just pay the 15 cent when we pay the next payment but today i get another rude phone call acting like i own 15,000 instead of 15 cents, they were rude and disrespectful, i told them i paid more than my payment amount last time and it was there mistske and i do have witnesses and a recept that i paid and the teller told me i paid to much and would apply the extra payment to the flood insurance, so anyway i would not ever do business with them again and would highly recommend everyone use great northwest federal credit union instead if you have one near by, i been there for several years and never had one problem and there all very nice and polite at all time and very professional.

I have been a customer of Twin Star for over 13 years. In those 13 years I have always felt supported and appreciated as a customer of Twin Star. That is, until today. In 13 years, I have now submitted one chargeback issue against a company who took my money and failed to provide the service they were contracted to provide. Twin Star was provided with 40 pages of documentation, 3 recorded phone calls, the contract and more... only to tell me that I'm still responsible for paying the amount - unless I want to give them an extra $500 at which time I'll still likely be told that I'm responsible for paying for this charge. The way they handle their chargeback requests is NOTHING like how my merchant services provider handles theirs. I'm not sure who is making up the procedures Twin Star is following... but it is a completely different process than how chargebacks work with my company. On the phone with the representative today, she was completely cold and kept placing the blame on someone else while telling me they had "done all {they} could do". When I let her know how I was feeling and how unlikely it was that I would remain a customer, she didn't care at all. She did not attempt to do anything to provide a solution, help me or keep me as a customer. It was clear she didn't give one iota about me.All my trust was lost with Twin Star today. I have already opened up both business and personal accounts with another company (an online bank, which clearly seems to be the future of banking) and will be transferring my balances to other places as well. It's unfortunate that Twin Star does not have the best interest of their members at the forefront of their company. I would recommend taking your money elsewhere.

0 stars :( TSCU ruined my life. I had an account at TSCU for so, so many years. I moved out of state, but I kept my account open because I used to think that TSCU was a great organization. I had a very small balance in my account, I believe $13, because I wasn't using it much at the time. My child support and IRS payments go into TSCU, and have for many years. At the beginning of the year 2019 PayPal pulled approximately $10 out of my account (which I hadn't used in awhile) for a subscription, which caused my account to fall below the minimum $5, and caused my account to go negative, because I was charged a stupid fee for something I didn't even do. Someone called me, but left a general message on my VM. My voice mail specifically states that I do not check my voice mail often, so text is better. I never received a letter, and I don't recall receiving an email either. The VM message was general and gave no details. It did NOT state "your account is negative" or anything of the sort. Very disappointing. Then my IRS refund was put into my account, and TSCU proceeded to take ALL of my money from my account to satisfy their charges for my account going under $5. It was literally the worst thing that happened to me this year. DON'T USE TSCU!!! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!!

Feedback:

Almost every time I call, phone is busy and I get a busy signal. No option to leave a message or wait on the line until someone is available. It is rather infuriating. Please get another line or a better phone system, TwinStar.

TwinStar ATM's have started charging a $2.50 fee for withdrawing cash! A credit union is not supposed to be driven by fees. I have closed my TwinStar account since they don't want to play nice with the credit union ATM network.

Feedback:

I've been with TwinStar for over 10 years now, and they have always taken care of me. The interest I earn on my checking account is amazing.

Feedback:

Twinstar is a good credit union. They are a little behind the times, but still function really good. They don't have a lot of variety like say WSECU, but what they do offer works.

Feedback:

I love this credit union. Extremely friendly and helpful customer service and not one hiccup thus far! The staff remember you and there's rarely a line. I don't see myself going to a regular bank again.

Feedback:

I love these folks. Who needs too-big-to-fail?
