I had my doubts about SmartBiz Loans but I decided to give them a shot. I usually work directly with my bank but got tired, frustrated with their traditional / old school process and lack of communication. Traditional banks just don't empathize with their customers anymore. SmartBiz on the other hand has revolutionized and simplified the process with their pre-qualification and underwriting technology. Folks, it just doesn't get any easier than this! Sure, you'll have to have all your information prepared and meet the qualification criteria but what loan doesn't? The staff at SamrtBiz (Michele & Tim) was outstanding as well! Michele and Tim worked around the clock, during the holidays and got my loan funded in less than 4 weeks! I highly recommend SmartBiz! Bradford Thompson is amazing. I found SmartBiz through a third party site. I needed an SBA loan to help grow my business. Bradford was relentless at following up to make sure every detail was clear. He answered my calls and emails after hours and even when he was on vacation! Bradford turned a normally painful process and made it simple and easy. He worked hard to help my business. SmartBiz is lucky to have Bradford on their team. I don't know their core values but Bradford has to exemplify each one in an outstanding manner. If I ever need to use SmartBiz again, I will ask for Bradford by name

I am thrilled to write this review. As a small business owner where our product is more on the seasonal end, I was in need of funding this year. I had taken a few other loans out in prior years where the payback time was approx. 1 year, not easy. This time around I wanted a better interest rate along with a longer time to payback. In my search I ran across Smartbiz. I did my due diligence and researched what I could find. Smartbiz sounded spot on, plus, the idea of an SBA loan with a fair interest rate and longer payback period sounded perfect. Granted there are many companies that offer loan programs, but what absolutely sets Smartbiz apart is the amazing customer service!!! Chris Carlson my relationship manager along with his manager Kevin Richgels were available everyday all day. Seriously!!! Don't get me wrong. Applying for an SBA loan is not an overnight process. It can be daunting but if the customer is prepared it moves along. That alone makes it imperative to have a solid person/people to communicate and work with. Chris and Kevin were just that.They guided me every step of the way, discussed options along with answering loads of questions. Being slightly impatient, I need communication. They deliver! Chris and Kevin respond fast. They know their business and understand the needs of small business owners. In the end I was approved for the loan which will help us tremendously. I sincerely recommend Smartbiz as the go to place for funding. If you are shopping around for funding that's a smart thing. Do it. But, not connecting with Smartbiz... not so smart. Ask for Chris Carlson or Kevin Richgels. They will not disappoint.

Drew Small and his team at SmartBiz were great to work with. They took what I thought was a very complicated and intimidating process and broke it down into bite size pieces helping me every step of the way. When I completed the paperwork they went to work with their lenders and got me an interest rate that was 10% - 20% cheaper than the merchant lenders I was talking to on my own and got me approved for more than I was requesting. I am highly recommending Drew Small and SmartBiz for any of your company needs. I will certainly be using them again when I need to grow my company again

I worked with Brian to get everything put together. It was extremely fast for my SBA loan. I had long been expecting a 3 month timeline to get an SBA loan and this came through in about 2 weeks - fully funded the day before Thanksgiving.
