I am thrilled to write this review. As a small business owner where our product is more on the seasonal end, I was in need of funding this year. I had taken a few other loans out in prior years where the payback time was approx. 1 year, not easy. This time around I wanted a better interest rate along with a longer time to payback. In my search I ran across Smartbiz. I did my due diligence and researched what I could find. Smartbiz sounded spot on, plus, the idea of an SBA loan with a fair interest rate and longer payback period sounded perfect. Granted there are many companies that offer loan programs, but what absolutely sets Smartbiz apart is the amazing customer service!!! Chris Carlson my relationship manager along with his manager Kevin Richgels were available everyday all day. Seriously!!! Don't get me wrong. Applying for an SBA loan is not an overnight process. It can be daunting but if the customer is prepared it moves along. That alone makes it imperative to have a solid person/people to communicate and work with. Chris and Kevin were just that.They guided me every step of the way, discussed options along with answering loads of questions. Being slightly impatient, I need communication. They deliver! Chris and Kevin respond fast. They know their business and understand the needs of small business owners. In the end I was approved for the loan which will help us tremendously. I sincerely recommend Smartbiz as the go to place for funding. If you are shopping around for funding that's a smart thing. Do it. But, not connecting with Smartbiz... not so smart. Ask for Chris Carlson or Kevin Richgels. They will not disappoint.
