Dealing with Simply Home Lending was literally the worst experience I have ever had dealing with any business. This was my 4th home loan, I was pre-qualified quickly and the prequalification was the first and only positive experience. I tried for three weeks just to find out how much money I needed to close. Their response was, "Just get as much in checking as you can." Solid plan but not what you want to hear from the banker. I dealt with three different people and consistently got three different answers. They caused me to miss closing three times and the sellers were gracious enough to extend. Finally, Jason just said the underwriter has poor customer service and is super slow. I could count on two days before closing they would contact me and say they didn't have everything. If you need communication forget it. It will be hours before anything is answered and in most cases a day or two, however it really don't matter as they wont know anyway. Finally two days from closing for the fourth time, they called and said they needed more. I told them I was out. Lost the house. Do yourself a favor and don't go anywhere near them. I had to give one star...there wasn't an option for none. Two Weeks Later: I thought all was lost after dealing with Kelly and the incompetent Simply Home Lending team. On the day I told them I was out, I was in my bank talking about the fiasco i had been through. I was given the number to Tina Sewell of The Bank of Little Rock Mortgage. I was under contract for another 48 hours. I thought well it cant hurt. I called her and explained my situation. She literally called and texted me until midnight that night. She persuaded the sellers agent to give my another extension. We closed 10 days later. I am writing this review sitting on the porch of my dream home. Do yourself a favor if you want a house call Tina Sewell of The Bank of Little Rock and start packing.

Avoid Jason, he talks over you and is incredibly belittling and will not answer any of your questions. It was an awful experience dealing with him. If you choose this company, work with Kelly Tribell. He is much nicer and more responsive.

I have been working with Kelly Tribell over the past few weeks on a mortgage loan. As a first time home buyer buying for sale by owner, I was pretty much clueless on how to navigate through the process. Kelly has been quick to respond to all communications, given me wonderful recommendations, and made this process extremely smooth for me. I applied with 3 lenders and had the best experience BY FAR with Kelly from the beginning. I would highly recommend considering Simply Home Lending (and Kelly) for your mortgage needs.

My partner and I, as first-time home buyers, decided to go with Simply Home Lending (we looked at other lenders, but Simply had the best rates!) It was the easiest part of the entire process. Kelly and the rest of the crew did a great job of walking us through everything from top to bottom, explaining things clearly, and keeping an open line of communication. Though buying a house is a complex affair, Simply Home Lending was the rock we could trust throughout the entirety of the project. We will definitely work with them again in the future. Kelly was knowledgeable and helpful in walking us through the mortgage process. My questions were answered almost immediately whether by text, email or phone. Prequalify letter was immediately available and mortgage closing on time! Definitely recommend Kelly!

The Best Home Buying ExperienceWhile purchasing my 1st home I discovered that Simply Home Lending was the best value for me.If you are purchasing a home in Northwest Arkansas I think that you should seriously consider going with Generations Banks.Kelly Tribell is honest and I found Generation's Bank's process as very straight-forward. Yes, it is through but that is to their benefit and more importantly your benefit.Getting a loan from a large bank like Bank of America or Arvest is fine, but I felt like a smaller lender offered me a slightly better interest rate.All-in-all the fees are very reasonable and I have recommended Kelly and the team at Simply Home Lending to my co-workers, friends, and my family.

Simply Home Lending is awesome! From the moment that I called Kelly and told him that I was looking for a house, he had me covered. He instructed me what paperwork I needed, what steps to take, and even contacted me after closing to make sure everything went smoothly. Have you EVER heard of a VA home loan closing a week early? No? The title company hadn't either. The great folks at Simply Home Lending made that a reality. Do yourself a favor, call SHL.

I have closed 5 other mortgage loans in my life and I have never had as bad of an experience as I have with this broker. I was told by the broker that "it didn't matter what rate I got as they got their fees either way" and once we were locked in with the rate and in process to closing my wife sent our broker 6 different e-mails asking for different loan scenarios to help us decide what route to take (number of years, % of down payment, etc) and he responded with a text to me that didn't fully answer the question and never responded to my wife's emails. This ended up costing almost 2 thousand dollars in extension fees due to poor communication. I would recommend rocket loans for better customer service and accurate information and yes, I realize that is an app.
