Overall Feedback:

Do not use ShopKeep!We were billed for the gift cards add-on even though it was included in our annual plan (WHICH WAS PAID IN FULL), and was an ultimate pain in the a-- to get a refund.Even after explaining this to "customer care" (they dont deserve that title btw) they still suspended our account for non-payment (the credit card on file did not have enough funds at the time so they couldn't charge us). This happened for about three weeks straight:1. our account would get suspended2. I would chat with "customer care" and explain the situation again3. our account would be reinstated4. one week later our account gets suspended again5. repeatI then chatted with Tyler from "customer care" on August 26, 2019 and told him we would not be renewing our annual plan and confirmed cancellation as of October 15, 2019.Guess what? We were billed $1,010.81 by shopkeep on October 15, 2019 (I thought our plan was $978 btw).Now after chatting with Blair from "customer care", I am told it would take 7-10 days for the refund to process.I am also never told why this happened in the first place.There is either a serious bug in their system due to poor engineering, or they are purposely doing this to get a free loan out of customers.Word of advice: DO NOT USE SHOPKEEP. If you do, please remember to cancel or max out the credit card you have on file to avoid any future charges.

I spent the summer working at my uncle's restaurant. They use ShopKeep and I can verify that the system is weird. It's as if it was designed by people who have never worked in a retail store or restaurant. What's worse is their customer service. Terrible. You'll get different answers each time you call and it just goes nowhere. My uncle is switching early next year to another company.

don't Buy It! You will never get anything resolved! My business closed 2 years ago and I canceled my service in the first 30 days They have 2 accounts set up for me and still fraudulent bill me over and over, no matter how many times I call. We canceled the service within the first 30 days because they shipped us the wrong equipment, and kept charging us. Just got another email saying they were billing me again! I don't know how to stop it! Called and called! CRAZY Company.I have one question, reading the reviews there are more than 1/2 that say they were dubiously charged without consent like me....when does the AG office get involved? How about a NEWS Crew that needs to investigate? Seems like there are plenty of victims.

I was shopping around for POS services for my market 2 months prior to opening and I received a quote from Shopkeep for $59/mo. Two months later, I'm ready to open so I begin the process of starting service with Shopkeep and find out they had charged me 3 times already for $95/mo.I politely explained to customer service that I wanted to use Shopkeep but I did not want to pay for the last 3 months considering I never officially signed up. I guess this was asking too much because I still haven't heard back from anyone.The only thing I've received is a message from Alexander (the team leader of customer care) telling me that he hasn't found anything and needs me to forward all the emails I've exchanged with their team. This is extremely frustrating and time consuming, and I don't understand why I am the one that needs to do all of the leg work when they should keep track of these things. All in all it has been a bureaucratic nightmare and I have been very dissatisfied with the company and their customer service.

Worst experience ever .RIP OFF.i paid for a year in advance 6months later my business is open but still nothing I payed a whole year in advance to later find out that I have no option that even tho I don’t want to use this system I still have to because they have a secret non refundable policy that not one time they ever mentioned . After I paid never heard from them again .worst creatures on earth

Wish I can give these people no starts worst company to do business with hands down . I paid a year in advance 6 months ago still haven’t received anyhing.called tried getting my money bak, now they say they have a non refundable policy that they never mention. Everytime I call I get story after story mind u they have none of my Info updated but they where able to take my card info but not my business info worst people to deal with this company is a joke. Then have the nerve to ask me do I still wanna use the software like do I have a choice no 👎.run from these people.RIP OFF is an understatement

I switch from clover to shopkeep my 2 restaurant's by all the reviews and what my bank recommend me its spouse to be one of Top 5 companies in the market bahahaha ,SO NO .really bad castumers service the don't know what the sale the dont have a clue about hardware save your self time and money .I'm going back to clover

Small business owners beware.I considered using shopkeep because they are local and "support small businesses". Ordered there hardware by phone since they have a 30 day full refund policy but ended up not using them due to the monthly fee. They charged my credit card for the monthly fee anyway even though a) I never approved the charge. I ordered the hardware by phone because it was refundable and never agreed or approved a monthly charge. They went ahead and charged my card anyway b) I never even used the hardware.Will never use this company nor recommend it to other small businesses. There are other companies out there including Square and Shopify that do what they do but better. So fed up with this company. Also, feel free to contact me directly so we can sort this out. Your team has ignored my emails but apparently has the time to follow up with my credit card company. So damn shady.
