Feedback:

This company has been ducking fixing my system for months! They sold to a company that has the worst customer service and never follow up. One broken promise after another. GARBAGE you should be ashamed of yourself.

Feedback:

You will never be able to speak to a live person when you are having technical difficulties. You will have to leave a message and the will contact you at there earliest convenience during business hours. And if you miss there call the whole process starts over. You have to call again and leave another message. Its like playing phone tag. Terrible company

Feedback:

I have used this service for several years. Recently they were sold to what I assume is Brinks home security. I made a simple call Point Security to schedule a service for a bad sensor. I was transferred to 3 different people and ended with the final person telling me nothing is wrong with the sensor... They really need to work on the customer service. I'll likely be terminating the service for non-performance

Feedback:

Company sold and now the service is GARBAGE! I have been calling and trying to get my stuff moved for over 2 weeks now, stating clearly to the woman on the phone that it needed to be done before the 31st. It’s the 29th and nobody will give me a definite date of moving my service to our new home. Not to mention, they now charge to move services as well as charge for a new-residence hook-up on top of it. I’ll likely just cancel and go with another company that will accept the equipment we have. I’m not dealing with this BS bullshit for years to come!!***Update*** I called repeatedly yesterday to find out that they were servicing my home today although they didn’t inform me. Then something that made me SMD happened. Not capable of fulfilling their customer’s needs or simply incompetent, you be the judge. Why they sent a technician to my home without remotely looking for what we’re paying for first. It’s beyond me, the stupidity! So the technician could not complete my entire order. Nobody seems to know what is going on over there. Not even supervisors nor management!

Feedback:

Almost two months ago the batteries on my sensors started to go bad so I replaced them. Right after, the sensors stopped communicating with the control unit. Called for help, and after a couple weeks, I received a reply. Was told the cover on the sensor wasn't placed back on fully. Went around and checked all of them and they were. I keep trying to call back to have someone come take a look but I only get voicemails or being told the service manager "just stepped out" or "isn't available" OR "isn't in the office". This is just crazy that no one at Point Security has the urgency to call back and come out to a customer with a faulty security system! I'm sure this review won't light a fire for them but it's worth a shot.

Feedback:

I have waited nearly two months for Point Security to correct my account: they sold me equipment, and when I told them I already had the monitoring device with Brinks, they told me that they would transfer my monitoring service from my old residence to my new home. Then I find out that they created an additional account (with a long term contract). When I called them to figure everything out, they told me I had to call brinks and cancel my existence ing contract. When I called Brinks, they told me that Point had to initiate this. And the back and forth began. THEN, I finally got a conference call going with both Point and Brinks, resulting in the discovery of Point’s deception regarding the new contract. Chris, “the sales manager” told me that everything would transfer, but tricked me in signing an entirely new contract. Now I’ve been ghosted and no one will return my calls or emails. I received an email from Michelle, stating that Point was purchased by American Defense Systems, but I haven’t received any correspondence from them either. At this point, I’m looking into moving forward with legal proceedings, which is absolutely ridiculous. Why can’t people just be honest? Why can’t companies just do the right thing without having to be threatened by online reviews and law suits? So frustrating. Don’t listen to the ads. Point security has been, by far, the worst “customer experience” I’ve experienced. EVER.

Feedback:

I have a call and put in work order request now in for a over a week with no response or call back on this. I have been trying to contact them all day today but none of there phone numbers work. Can someone please contact me back about when I can expect a call or work schedule?

Feedback:

Horrible customer service skills after they get you setup. Camera been down been calling they don’t respond. Sold the company to someone else so not even named point Security anymore as well. Keep getting the run around, definitely will not be referring anyone i know to them nor doing any more business with them.

Feedback:

This company sold and already the service is garbage. What a shame. Thank you point security for years of quality service but with the new owners and the way they treat customers we are moving on. Sad

Feedback:

Setting aside the complete nightmare that I had with Point during their installation process a year ago (4 trips from two different technicians), the complete lack of clean-up or tidy-up from the installation technician, and the outright false information that was provided during the sales process about Amazon Alexa compatibility, I've now had their DVR crash and can't get a call back from anyone at Point for several days. Despite supposedly having a support ticket opened up last week, I have not gotten a call from anyone at Point. Today, the separate phone numbers for the Houston, Austin, and San Antonio offices all roll to a general voice mailbox with no other option than to leave a general message. Last week it looked like the lights were on but no one was home. This week it looks like the lights are not even on anymore. I guess they've gone out of business? Either way, I'm having the equipment removed from my home. Terrible company to do business with, and I'm not just saying that as a Quality Manager and working professional...purely as a consumer. Every aspect of dealing with them has been disappointing, disturbing, problematic, or just downright disastrous.
