Feedback:

My experience with Loan Depot was very easy and fast. I liked the on line forms that I could just look up and fill out then send it right to them in a matter of minutes. They did tell me that they don't sell there mortgage loans to other Banks. That was false, mine was sold within a few months.I wasn't happy. Then less than a year later, it went to another bank,. We are on our fourth bank now. Each time it changes, they tell me I owe money on escrow. My advice is use a real bank, not a mortgage company.

Feedback:

Feedback:

BEWARE!! They will lie to you and not issue a refund of your fees when they make a mistake. Very Bad Experience!! I HAVE CONTACTED YOUR CUSTOMER CARE TEAM AS WELL AS BBB AND STILL NO REFUND!!

Feedback:

Spent Money on a worthless appraisal because I was assured by their representative that a SFH being used as a duplex is allowable. On top of that he was also unaware of the six month seasoning requirement.

I have nothing but good things to say about this company. From beginning to end there was great communication! Leigh my loan office was all of amazing in helping me and keeping me updated daily. Lindsey who was my Sr. loan officer was very Thorough and quick! If I could give an A+++ review I definitely would! Highley reccomend Loan Depot! Thankyou for such a smooth process!!😀

Feedback:

John Woo, where do I start... Don’t trust anything this guy says, obviously he does not know what he is doing at all!!! He will tell you one thing then forget he told you only to tell you something else completely different! Don’t waste your time with this guy, he needs at least another 5 years underneath him to even understand what can or cannot be done in mortgage loans. We were trying to purchase a home in which we are leasing, have been for two years. He initially told me we could use the equity from the home that we would not need a down payment with almost 50k in equity. It’s worth much more than they are willing to sell to us vs someone else. He told us as long as the home owner is willing to put that in writing that they are selling it for 30k-50k more and gifting us the rest we had our down payment taken care of completely! I went into personal details about the people we lease from how this was a surprise to us they were selling, he knew this UPFRONT! Then after underwriting he says it would have to be a family member whom is selling the home for that to work! Are you F-ing kidding me? Why waste my time with that if that was not possible??? I wasted countless days and hours working with this guy only to be tossed away in the end simply because he doesn’t have any idea what he is saying or doing! Do yourself a huge favor and stay clear of John Woo and Loandepot. Any mortgage lender who would put this guy out there to work with people with his experience I would NOT recommend to anyone, even my worst enemy. For those of you with a few speed bumps in your credit report and not a lot to put down, this is not the place to go and John Woo won’t be the person to put faith in to getting you a mortgage!!!

Feedback:

I had a great experience working with everyone involved. Sean, my lending officer, went above and beyond to make sure everything went through smoothly and timely. My appraiser was also amazing...worked with me on scheduling, showed up on time, and gave me an absolute fair price.

Feedback:

My experience refinancing went seamlessly and without stress.

Feedback:

A process that lingered for months, only to be told my file was being put in the inactive status until I returned from a trip. Strangely, I was then asked repeatedly to complete a customer satisfaction survey. I didn't since I thought we were going to close the loan upon my return and I would complete it when all was done. I subsequently received a notice informing me my application was denied. This, after months of being misled and rudely treated. I almost moved on during the process due to frustration and was called a quitter. Now, I wish I had. Thanks for wasting my time Jordan. So, I'll just get my loan from a company with some integrity and which doesn't demean and mislead potential customers.

Feedback:

After they initially told me that we would qualify without any problems I agreed to let them do an appraisal of our property. I am a Realtor and know a little bit about appraisals but this was the absolut worst appraisal experience I ever went through. Not only did they put a way too low value at our property but loan depot did not care and did not even react to our concerns. From than on the communication totally went dead and a couple of days later they declined our loan telling me that our income to debt ratio was too low. (FYI we have no debt and we have a good average income). Before giving them any information I urge everybody to do their research and maybe consider a local lender instead of a loan factory that does not care about their customers. Another info, I never received a phone call from my personal loan consultant telling me that my loan was declined and any reasons. Not a good lender at all. BEWARE!
