Feedback:

Banked with them for the past 3 years as we wanted to support and bank with a local credit union. Unfortunately, although the people who work at the Frisco location are awesome, the union itself leaves a LOT to be desired. We have to pay for services that would be free under a larger national bank, and their customer service phone lines are limited hours, so if you work 40hr weeks, you’re gonna have a hard time resolving issues. Then today we went in to address fraudulent activity on both our cards and we were told “hackers got into their algorithm”. Instead of notifying their customers to be on the alert I had to catch this myself, then after 2 wasted hours trying to navigate lousy customer service numbers, they tried to charge me 20 dollars to issue me a new card when the fraudulent activity was not my fault. I had to drive to the bank twice today to be able to resolve this. If you have the time and patience for incompetent banking services then by all means bank with them. Otherwise go elsewhere.

Feedback:

Only complaint is the fact they are not open on the weekends. Any issues I have had are resolved in a quick fashion.

Feedback:

I have been banking here for six years and have never had any issues besides my card getting hacked a couple times a few years ago. This was resolved in a timely manner. I also got a car loan with an awesomely low interest rate.No longer living in Frisco, and now having the banking app, I rarely stop in so can't really comment on their current customer service.

Feedback:

Got scammed using the atm here. Avoid

Feedback:

Have try 3 times to open a new account at this location they never have anyone to help.

Read about how the predatory Credit Union of the Rockies took 75% of the money I left in a savings account with them for two and a half years. About two and a half years ago I contacted the Credit Union of the Rockies to open a business account. I was told that in order to open one I would also have to have a personal account with them. I opened a savings account and deposited the minimum amount. When I went back in to open the business account I was told that the Credit Union of the Rockies did not handle business accounts. I left and hurried to make alternate plans opening one at Alpine Bank, who I am very happy with. Anyways fast forward to a couple of days ago, I remembered I never closed my savings account so I went in to do so and withdraw my money. Not so fast, Credit Union of the Rockies locks your account if it goes dormant (no transactions in 365 days). And if your account is in this "dormant" state, as they arbitrarily determine it, they start fining you every month. And this is how I lost 75% of the money I put in a savings account with the Credit Union of the Rockies.

Feedback:

Awesome! Very helpful.

Feedback:

Don't waste your time! They don't answer the phone, I always find mistakes in every transaction, and their online banking is straight out of 1994.

Feedback:

A very deceitful bank to deal with - we have had an account with them before they ever had a branch up here, and they have mis-informed and cheated us for years. Only keep an account open with them because we have to have a credit union and this is the only one in the county. Do business with these people at your own risk - NOT a good credit union - this is one of the few examples of the bad ones :-(

Feedback:

This is by far the worst company I have ever worked with. Extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. Whitney Meinders did not help me at all. I was told different things from different people countless times. No one is on the same page. If you do business here, make sure everything is written down. I had an auto loan with them. I decided to purchase a horse trailer. I got pre approved for a loan and picked up my horse trailer. After I got the trailer home, credit union of the Rockies decided to take me from a 4% interest rate to ! 12% interest rate. Keep in mind the trailer was already in my driveway and they decided not to pay the dealership. So I financed the trailer through a different company. I was so upset with credit union of the Rockies so I wanted to know my payoff for my auto loan so I could refinance my truck through somewhere else. The lady I spoke with seemed super helpful and told me that she doesn't know why they couldn't finance my trailer as well. She told me she could give me the same rate on my trailer as my truck and I'd have one monthly payment for both of my loans. Seems to good to be true right? Well, 2 years later that truck started breaking down so I went to trade it in. What credit union of the Rockies did was tack the trailer onto the equity on my truck instead of giving me 2 separate loans as we had discussed previously. The dealership worked with credit union of the Rockies and I to come up with a plan so the dealership could make the deal with me. The dealership paid credit union of the Rockies 5 grand so they would send them the title of the vehicle i was trading in, and then i could leave with my new truck and payoff the leftover on the loan with credit union of the Rockies. Well, 5 months later the dealership has still not recieved the title and now I'm being charged for insurance on a truck that is no longer in my possession and late fees for said insurance even though I have always been on an automatic payment plan. Save yourself the headache and just bank anywhere else, seriously, ANYWHERE else! Wells Fargo is even better than this place. On a happier note, Justin at the Frisco location was helpful when I went in to payoff the loan.
