Why didn’t I read the reviews before getting into business with this Horrible company? I won’t go into detail about my awful experience but suffice it to say the Devil would be less conniving in his dealing with customers. You’re better off walking to work than driving a car financed through Ally.

Locked out of account more times than we can count so we can never pay online. Never even recognizes our social security number. Have to call EVERY month to make a payment and each time we are put on hold for almost an to make a simple payment. Switching banks as of today. This is a disaster. No more.

My wait time for customer service was actually very short, every time I have called. However, the fact that I HAVE TO CALL them to apply additional principal to my payments EVERY TIME is extremely annoying! There is really no reason that the payment slip (or website if paying on line) should not accommodate this. It's obviously aimed at discouraging any additional principal payment, which is at best, a sketchy business practice. WOULD NOT consider them again for a future loan.

Worst customer service ever!!!!!!!!! They first messed up appling a payment, it took me a month of constant calls to get them to fix their mistake. Then once the car was paid off, the had our DOT send them the title. In turn they say they sent it to my insurance co. (unsure why that happened) my insurance co. said they never recieved it. They ordered a duplicate because I said I wasn t paying for their error, they said it would take 4-6 weeks. I called our DOT they said 7-10 days. I called back and told Ally and after a little over 2 weeks they said oh yeah they had it. Now they said they were going to over night it Fedex. I didn t receive so I called again. They said that they don t know why but it was sent out 2 day its been 4 and still not here. No one has phone numbers to the main office. DON'T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

Worst bank ever. Had account with them for almost 7 years. One day they just locked up my account. Calling them and the wait time has been more than 1 hour and still waiting.

There are better choices! ! I made every payment on time for The Last 5 Years. Yet they wouldn't give me another loan despite an above 700 credit rating...... Because they couldn't gouge me for a higher interest rate. .....

On June 15, I initiated a Zelle transfer in the amount of $500. The transfer failed. I contacted Ally via their online chat. I was told the $500 would be returned to me the following Monday (6/17). On 6/17, the money was not returned and so I called Ally. I was told that it would take three business days to get the money back and should be there no later than Thursday (6/20). On 6/20, the money was not there, and so I called again. I was told that the money would be returned to me no later than next Monday (6/24). On 6/24, the money was still not there. I called Ally again and was put on hold for over 40 minutes before talking to Sunday Harrison. Initially, Sunday told me that the transfer was completed and had been successfully delivered. I told Sunday to review the previous calls I had made because that was not what I was told last time. I was put on hold again. Eventually, Sunday came back and said, yes, it was an error and that the money would be returned to me. I asked her when and she told me no later than July 8. Sunday then told me "I don't have to stand here and listen to you and I will hang up on you." I still don't know if I will get the money back by July 8. I don't understand how any employee would just threaten to hang up on me. All said, Ally wasted about 8 hours of my time trying to sort everything out.

They have messed up my and shorted me with Cd.s on deposit and after over 20 calls to customer service I continue to be told this has been escalated to the highest levels of the company. I guess that means the janitors where they must have just thrown away my complaint, Thus filed a complaint with the Federal agency that they report to. Lets see what happens next.
