Feedback:

Very slow drive thru customer service

Feedback:

Horrible. Wanted to charge me a $5 fee to cash an official bill pay check issued by Zions Bank! And all the teller could do is sit there smirking with a smug smile on his face telling me that he was going to charge me a $5 fee. Never again!

Feedback:

If I could put zero stars on this reveiw, I would. Yrene Luque, the financial center manager at this location, was extremely rude when I came in with my wife to cash a check for a very large sum of money. I, on a daily basis, exercises my 2nd amendment rights, and was doing so when I went in today, carrying a double retention holstered sidearm. She approached me while my wife was with the teller and demanded I show her my gun permit. First of all, I was open carrying and I am not required, by law in the state of Utah, to have a permit to open carry. I do, however, have a concealed carry permit, if I so choose to carry concealed. Second of all, I am under no obligation by law to show her anything, and told her as much. She still continued to insist I had to show her my permit. I told her to call West Jordan PD if she has a problem with the law. Meanwhile, my wife is still with the teller going through the long process of getting the check verified which involves calling the people who issued the check. She goes back to her office to call West Jordan PD and I wait patiently. The teller hangs up the phone and states that he cannot verify the check because he cannot get them on the phone. My wife calls them on her phone and gets them on the phone right away and asks them to call the teller back. They do so and the teller hangs up on them without any explanation. He states that the check cannot be verified and that we have to go somewhere else to cash the check. She never stated, and there is nothing posted anywhere on their property, that they do not allow lawfully carried firearms. She also never asked us to leave the property. After the refusal of service, and 45 minutes of time wasted, we left the building and waited for West Jordan PD. One of the officers went in to explained the law to her, which she was apparently oblivious to, while we chatted to with the other officer outside. We asked if my wife could finish her transaction, since she really had nothing to do with the exchange between her and I, but she refused. We apparently are banned from this location now and had to go all the way to the location in Murry to complete our transaction. They, at least, were very professional. Thank you West Jordan PD officers for being professional as well.

Feedback:

My bank, they are friendly and helpful

Feedback:

A teller named george wouldnt cash or deposit my check even though ive been doing it the same way for the past 5 years. Ive never had a problem. And even when my account has less than the amount needed to get cash back they would just deposit the check and it would be available the next day. The man decided on his own to put a 2 day hold on my check and treated me like a criminal. I cancelled the transaction and he wrote on front of check "2 day hold" in case i tried going to a different zions bank. Me and my wife will be closing our account with them because of this man george. The whole 5 years ive had this account has this happened.

Feedback:

I honestly get treated like a criminal every time I go into this bank. I am a home builder and so quite often I am dirty, have paint on my clothes etc. but also am usually depositing large amounts of money from construction projects I have been paid on. Every time I deposit a check they place a minimum 5 day hold on the funds, when their printed policy they hang on the wall says a maximum 2 day hold will be placed on funds deposited from outside financial institutions. I have banked with zions for over 20 years and I am done. I want to be treated like a 20 year client where I bank, and it’s not here.

Feedback:

We had a mistake happen on our account and were told by customer service over the phone that we needed to visit a branch. The teller at this location couldn't do what needed to be done, so she had us speak with the branch manager. I couldn't believe the way the branch manager talked to me. She immediately became defensive and started belittling me and telling me that I didn't know how to bank. The way she spoke to me was as if we had tried to commit fraud with our own money. The reality is that there was a miscommunication between us and the original branch when we opened our account. Customer service assured us that they would be happy to help us get the issue fixed at a branch location. The teller proceeded to tell us that they get customers all the time who come in because customer service told them to visit a branch and that the branch can't help them either. I don't recommend going to this location if needed, there are plenty of other branches that are wonderful and helpful.

Feedback:

Amazing branch with very kind people. Lisa helped me and was absolutely outstanding. She deserves a raise. :) thank you for making my experience with Zions great. :)

Feedback:

This bank charged me five dollars to cash a check from their bank. Why do people still bank with this idiotic institution?

Feedback:

They charge YOU $5 to cash a check from one of their account holders!
