Client Review on Stevens Point Honda

Feedback:

We have always heard great things about Honda, so we bought one. We were sent a warrenty form in the mail about the "paint chipping off" and that the warrenty was extended for those models of 2011. So, I called to make an appointment and they said they don't do appointments for that and to just come down, as a worker would have to take photos first of the chipped paint and send that in.I went down to the Stevens Point Honda, and walked into the Auto repair section and saw a worker seating at his desk and explained that I was given a warrenty form. This man I see was about to eat some food, and set it down. He then looked up a warrenty form and asked me what year my van was? I said a 2011. He said the warrenty was only for 7 years and I no longer was covered. I said, I have my paper here and they extended the warrenty until April 2020. Sure enough, he scrolls down his form on the computer and sees that it was extended. He says he will come take the photos because he doesn't want to be the bad guy. but that we probably wont get covered. He comes outside and my husband was in the driver side waiting and I had to lift the back door open and hold it so the man could get the photo of that and then he took a photo of our miles. I told my husband "this man was eating his lunch and said he doesn't want to be the bad guy so he is taking the photos." I go back into the Honda with the man, so he can write down my name and phone number. He then shows me pictures of vans similar to mine on the computer that looked REALLY bad, paint off the roof! and said they didn't even get covered. and then tells me again he will let them "be the ones to tell me NO, he doesn't want to be the bad guy." I then tell him, I have been very dissatisfied with Honda and that we really thought Honda vans were good..he then said my van was used and you never know what you are getting from a used van. But to me,. Honda is Honda. My van is not in bad shape.I really feel the customer service is lacking at the Stevens Point Branch. My service man was very rude. AND I never received a call back about the warrenty...I would call, but I am really just so fed up with Honda. I don't want to have to deal with something We are going to just go and get fixed ourselves.I really feel that the warrenty sheet they sent out was just to make it seem like they would fix something, but they had clauses is there that I should have paid more attention to, I really thought Honda was an honest company and wanted to fix the peeled paint in areas, how pleased I would have been then for a company to try to make sure your vehicle stayed in nice condition. But, sounds like we are all wasting our time to go down there. do the photos and never hear anything back.If the man was on lunch break, he should have been in a "lunch" area of Honda, or told me to go to the next desk behind him. I know that this is the last Honda vehicle I will own, and I plan to go to the Nissan Dealership across the street for my next purchase.
