Feedback:

Terrible customer service. Nobody knows what they are doing. I got told one thing by one banker, complied then was told to do something different by another banker and that first banker was wrong. No one knew ehat a DBA was. App functioned horribly. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

This is the most disorganized bunch of folks that I've ever dealt with. I've been going in circles for 2 weeks trying to get an account set up. They opened the account and took my initial deposit, but then they froze the account, because they couldn't find the paperwork I have already submitted twice. There's no professionalism or accountability at this place and I question it's legitimacy as a bank.

Pathetic bank and staff as they dont have experienced bankers who understand how to start a business to even be able to help business owners. I was dealt with rudely, like a criminal and even after supplying everything requested except for my DNA - nobody has called me back to date. It appears they're also part of Making America Great Again by only serving whites with the best service. On the other hand, I opened my business checking account with US Bank in 1 hour. Small Business Bank - Highly UNRECOMMENDED!

Temper your expectations people. It's like some of us have forgotten how ridiculous it is when a customer says to us small businesses, "Well Amazon and Uber do this, this, and this...."Customer service at this place is excellent.

They claim they can set up a small business checking account in 24 hours. I've been trying to get an account set up for over two weeks, never get a call from them, I have to initiate all the communication. There was an issue with our address (USPS problem) but I had to track that down. Now no one can give me a straight answer why the process is taking so long.

I suspect they do not have the resources to handle the online bank. I submitted an application and it took them 3 days to call me to finalize the account. I was in the middle of something, so took a voice mail. I returned their call next day and had to leave them a voice mail. I never heard back after that and it's been more than a week. Let's compare that to Discover Bank. I was able to get everything done within a couple of hours.

My experience has been positive. I am not sure what people want from a bank that offers no fees and personal service, but for me, that is more than what most banks do offer. And they are friendly. Thank you, SBB.

Imagine a bank staffed with personnel lacking all knowledge on banking using technology from the early 2000s and that is Small Business Banking defined. Deposits may be held 3, 5 or maybe 6 days. No way to know as there's nothing telling the account holder how long. Just depends on how the bank feels. If fund are held for 5 business days, they become available on the 6th business day at 4pm CST. No ATMs so unless you can drive to the one branch, cash and check deposits are not possible. If the app is down, deposit via mobile can't be done. The debit card offers 0 for use. No rewards, no cash back, not Samsung, Android or IPhone pay capable either. Its serviced by the bank so if there's an issue, you will have to call during banking hours. Do yourself a favor and ditch the useless Visa bank card and use Spark or another credit card that offers 2% cash back or rewards and merely use the bank account to payoff the card every month. The bank server routinely goes down which makes all banking stop. No account access, ledger or anything. Has been down for not mere minutes or even an hour but DAYS before. It is shocking who the Federal Reserve will allow to become a bank and the bar for FDIC must be astonishing low these days.

Phone number is no longer working. If this bank is going under at least let your members know now, so we can start moving our funds to another bank. Probably be moving to Frost bank. Also looking at SBA.gov which is a US Small Business Administration bank and small business services.
