On 13 September 2016, Regions Bank entered into a settlement agreement with the United States Department of Justice. The settlement resolves allegations that Regions failed to meet its obligations as a participant in the FHA program. Regions has agreed to pay $52.4 million to resolve the allegations that it violated the False Claims Act by knowingly originating and underwriting mortgage loans insured by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Federal Housing Administration (FHA) that did not meet applicable requirements.I have been waiting 210 days for a response to the letter(s) I sent Regions Bank. They treat their customers like criminals and they have ruined my perfect credit score. Look what they've done with $52.4 million dollars of our savings! Bank with Regions!

This branch gets 5 stars from me because they close at 5 pm, on Mondays-Thursdays. Closing at 5pm is very convenient for people who need to get to the bank after work.The other branches close at 4 pm on Mondays-Thursdays. I've also always had a pleasant experience with this branch. The tellers are courteous.

My 16 y/o daughter and I went in on June 13th to open her very own account. Emerson is great at what he does! He informed me and my daughter of products offered by Regions, and helped us select the ones best suited to meet her needs. I think the best part for my daughter was that she got her bankcard right away! She is very impatient (LOL)! Thanks Emerson, you Rock!

If I had the ability to give zero stars, I would. Absolute most horrible bank to ever deal with. Their reps are very dishonest, unprofessional, condescending and plum out, downright rude for no reason. If you don't like your job, then quit, their are many others more qualified that will take your place. Regions, I suggest you integrate more efficient hiring practices. We all know how most of your employees get their jobs in the first place!Had one of their reps literally, completely lie over the phone and say my account was in collections when I hadn't even been past my grace period. When I said I was actually calling to pay it off in full, she then said that they do not accept payments over the phone. That I would have to mail them a check, or go to a local bank.Okay people, it's 2018, who doesn't accept payments over the phone? Funny thing, I spoke to a rep last week, informing them I was going to be paying this off in full this week...I was told then that I could make payment over the phone with my Visa debit card, yet today, was rudely spoken to and told No.I recommend anyone and everyone 1) never do business with this bank due to unfair, deceptive and malicious business practices and 2) if you have an account (s), close all of them IMMEDIATELY and do business with a more trustworthy and ethical company. Big banks like this DO NOT deserve our business. Try a smaller, localized bank or credit union and start hitting these big banks where it hurts, after all, you're just a number to them!

Region's Bank has really disappointed me. I have nothing good to say on what used to be my favorite place to bank. I have been waiting on customer service for ten minutes and their the phone was disconnected. I will be opening an account with Wells Fargo in the morning. They have phone bankers that will answer right away. SMH at Regions Bank 😔.

So I have always been loyal to Wells Fargo, I worked at Southtrust, (back when I was SouthTrust and when I was in school) until they opened an account for me without my knowledge. My Partner was already with Regions bank, and they offered a $50 reward (first of many) to join. I opened a checking and a savings account and after 90 days, my boyfriend and I received $50 in each of our accounts. I’ve been with Regions for almost 2 years now, and I love them!I use the Regions app on my phone, to check my balance and make payments. I love the innovative technology they are using to better their services.My boyfriend is a truck driver and sometimes send money through the Zelle app with Regions, the deposit goes through as quickly as a text. We love the virtual ATM’s and can’t wait for them to be at all locations! We are very happy with Regions and everyone there is really nice and helpful. The only bit of constructive criticism I would say is that it would be great if all locations had same services. I recently thought I lost my debit card, so instead of ‘Locking’ it (Which I should have done) I panicked and cancelled my card- I later found it in the back seat floorboard of my car. The nice Customer Service Rep on the phone told me I could go to nearest bank to get a new card, if I couldn’t wait 5-7 business days for the mail to bring me replacement card.When I went to go get another card printed, the location in Homewood ( On Greensprings) they said the printing machine was down and sent me to UAB location. I thought the 5 points south location (on 20th Street) was the UAB location, (it was not) and they did not have printing capabilities either. So I had to go downtown location (the main one on 5th Ave N) to get a new debit card made. I guess it’s not really a big deal, I just know I must travel to downtown location for major changes. There IS a free parking deck in the back for customers, just remember to get your ticket validated by a Regions employee.I’m sure they are working to make all locations new and improved, just wish I went straight downtown before running into two locations that could not assist me.
