Feedback:

We had an appraisal done but it was so full of discrepancies including the price. The guy didn’t even have the number of rooms correct. After being told I could Dispute the appraisal I was called and told I’d need to bring 7,000 to closing. This after I was assured to begin with there was nothing out of pocket. When I asked for a refund on their incorrect appraisal I was told no it is good faith... who can have good faith in a crooked company?

We were pre-approved, had 50 days to close, and were assured that everything was fine. The underwriter asked for 3 pages worth of documentation AFTER our due diligence period was OVER (bulleted list single spaced) and kept adding new "conditions" every day from that point. The documentation included ridiculous things like my daughter's birth certificate and things that don't exist like a letter from my employer guaranteeing my employment for another 3 years. We have had to correct the math several times, explain how K-1s work, and repeatedly correct them on the facts that have been provided multiple times. From the questions I've gotten, I'd swear the underwriter barely has a high school education. We are now one day from closing and received new conditions last night. I'm waiting to hear back about whether we even have a loan for tomorrow and what the exact cash out of pocket will be so that I can go to the bank and transfer the money (they can't calculate that yet for some reason). I would NEVER use or recommend Quicken loans to ANYONE.

I used Quicken loans to do a Refi on my home. Everything was going well until my homes appraisal did not meet the number it needed to for the Refi to be approved. Ok fine, I can completely understand that and that is not why I gave 1 star. I gave 1 star because when this happened Quicken loans completely cut off communication with me, no calls no email no explanation of what was happening. They sent all of my calls to voice mail and refused to answer emails. I finally got a receptionist somewhere to answer and told me that my file had been closed. Great customer service. In the time since this happened, I have completed 2 Refi's and purchased a home. None of which did I use Quicken Loans. Look elsewhere you will not be sorry.

They assumed that my loan application was for an investment property, because I currently live next door to the home I would like to purchase. My family has deep roots locally and we have other property that we own which is heir property. They did not take the facts given, but only assumed this would be a purchase for income property. In turn that changes the dynamics of the loan and increases the down payment needed to secure the loan. Their actions were unfair and not based on facts. I will never attempt to use their services nor would I recommend this company to anyone, because rather base their decisions of facts, they used assumptions. Stay away!..Me and my wife gave our all informations, (I’m the business owner and my wife is state employee). They check our credit, but no results. Quicken Loan (Chriss) just try to connect you with the local brokers, and quicken loan take commission. If they call you and if you’re busy at the moment they don’t call you back and they will try to check credit again.This is my experience. BEST WAY TO GO YOUR LOCAL BANK. I tried and I’m not happy. No customer Satisfaction.

This has to be the most annoying company. They call between 10 and 20 times a day. While I was looking for info on refinancing I will not consider using them because of there excessive phone calls. I'm a busy person I will call you back when I have time. If you don't here from me after a few days ok call back and if you still can't reach me and I don't call you back I've either changed my mind or gone with someone else. 10 - 20 calls a day for the last week isn't going to win my business.

I truly believe that double standards (racial standards) exist more in 2018 in such a subtile and destructive way than Jim Crow and this company practices it to perfection. I was told by the person I am working with that I would have an approval on March 29, 2018, instead I was asked to come up with more money and then furnish more bank statements. I came up with more money and that's not enough because they can't trace how it got there. I would like to see in Federal Regulations for Mortgage Lending that how money got into your bank account is a factor in loan determination. I started this process on February 5, 2018 and have not received any documentation by USPS or by Email. I have not received any GFE (Good Faith Estimate). I have not received disclosures, I am getting worried now that my information is just floating hand to hand or computer to computer.I truly believe like Wells Fargo, Quicken Loans uses the "Red Line" on a map standard and that Whites (Caucasians) do not have to go through such a lengthy process as Blacks "African-Americans". It's a proven fact that is exposed but falls on deaf White and Black ears.

Representative talked to me like I did not know what I was talking about and talked over me. I talked to his supervisor and told not to call me again. I have received 5 calls from them in the last 2 days. Once again they are not listening!
