Financing department is horrible. Don't buy car and expect to get a phone call afterwards if there is a problem. When we bought the car we made a mistake on the title and needed it changed. Called the next business day to have the paperwork changed and never got a call back. After calling over the next few days not receiving a return call, we asked for anyone in finance that might be able to help. We finally spoke with a female that in spite of being snarky and telling us it wasn't her problem because she didn't work with us, told us the paperwork had already been sent out of their office , they didn't hold any paperwork at the dealership it was too late. Since that time we have left a number of messages for finance to call us back since we still don't have the title. We purchased the car on July 26th and still nothing. It takes on average 20 business days to get a title in Texas. In spite of a number of calls specifically to David we still don't know where our title is or when the paper work was actually turned in. On the upside, the sales and the service department is beyond amazing. The best service and customer service we have ever had on a vehicle. Maybe the finance department could take a few notes about effective communication and customer service.

We were on a road trip when my check engine light came on. The other Lexus dealer in Austin told us it would be 4 days before thru could even look away our car. So we drove an extra 45 mins out of the way to pay as visit to Lakeway Lexus. We were greeted within seconds. They told us they were also busy which was apparent because of all the customers picking up and dropping off their own cars, but due to our circumstances they would assist us as soon as possible. They escorted us upstairs top their amazing lounge complete with computers, comfortable couches and a coffee and snack bar. We ordered an iced white chocolate raspberry mocha from the barista and was surprised that it was 100% complementary. With in an hour we had an update on our car and the problem had been solved. We were back on the road with in 1 hour and 15 mins. I only wished we lived in Austin because I would make this dealership my permanent home for my cars repairs.

Short version: If you value customer service, time, and/or money - don’t go here. Long version: The employee who did the intake paperwork was rude. I had to wait 45 minutes for a courtesy vehicle (they told me it would take 10 minutes to get it). I picked my car up and paid over $400 for the routine service (overpriced but my fault because I didn’t ask for details on the front end). One of the charges was an “admin fee” because I hadn’t been to this dealership before. I asked for a new battery for my second key because it was dead (this was included in the service). They said only one battery was included and they were going to charge me for the second battery. The Lexus dealerships I went to in Atlanta would change the key batteries for me any time, free of charge, no questions asked. All of these things together made for a very poor experience.

My wife and I have purchased many vehicles, but this was the easiest and quickest we have ever experienced! From the vehicle knowledge of salesperson Melanie Welch to David Pineda who did the financials and paperwork, they made the process smooth and pleasant! Our wait time was very short but the wait area is very comfortable and along with their well stocked coffee bar everyone made sure we had all we needed! Lexus of Lakeway is more than three hours away but we will gladly make the drive again for our next Lexus!

Ashley really went above and beyond to deliver my car and even went out and shipped it from another local dealer to keep my business. Always professional and did all she could to keep my business. Top notch customer service from her and the entire team. Lakeway is a little out of the way for Austinites but this dealership is beat in tow. With fantastic coffee bar and finishes with a satisfied customer through and through.

Not only did we purchase our Lexus here but the service and support is outstanding. They treat their customers with such professionalism. I pulled in today unannounced with a screw in my tire. Ryan of the service department took my car right in and got me back in the road quickly and it was 6:00 pm when other dealers may well have turned me away. Thanks team Lexus of Lakeway.
