AVOID IBMSECU!!Applied for a loan online and received a instant response that they would respond within 8hrs. After waiting 48 hours, and still no response by phone or email, I contacted them and they said they were waiting to receive my pay stubs. I told them that no one has contacted me to ask for any information or documents. They replied "you didn't receive an email" and I said "no". After immediately sending them the documents they needed I waited another 24 hours before finally receiving an email saying I was denied. They offer you little to no communication and could care less about helping you. I contacted another financial institution and they were very friendly and talked to me about my options. I was approved for my loan within 15 minutes. Don't waste your time with IBMSECU. I can see why they have bad reviews on here.

I don't understand why all the bad review. Everyone is very nice, they walk you through everything. Yes you sometime have to wait till next day too get a car loan. But they have to make sure the car is worth the amount the auto broker or dealership is wanting for the car. In the long run I think that's good. You just got to be an adult and be patient. They don't have drive Thur but they have made there parking lot bigger.

I suppose they're good for needing a loan, but once you attempt to close the account after you're done paying, prepare for the WORST. I've been attempting to close my account for weeks, and they require antiquities like a written letter, or cashiers check. Getting help on the phone is almost useless, as customer service is drone-like and not helpful. I would not recommend getting any money through them unless you're in the mood for a migraine.

I have a loan for a truck, a savings and a checking account and a credit card through this Union and I have not had any problem yet, they have been pretty awesome so I don't know why the reviews are bad

I have never experienced such terrible customer service before. They don't deserve 1 star. New in the area we wanted to open up an account. The employees at the desks when we walked in asked to help us. We told them what we wanted then both employees tried to get each other to do it. After some back and forth the female employee convinced the male employee to assist us. After filling out the application and asking questions we felt as though they could care less whether we opened an account or not. When my husband asked what the interest rate for savings was the male employee replied "hardly nothing". Because of the disinterested attitude we got up, cancelled the application, and took our business elsewhere.

If I could rate a 0 star I would. This bank is a joke. We came in for a loan for a vehicle spent almost 2 hours applying for it. They told us to come back the next day to get the check and sign final paperwork that we had been approved and they would email over confirmation the next day. Called at noon the next day to confirm everything was ready to pick up at 3pm. Got there at 3 pm and at 4:45 (mind you they close at 4:30) the manager decided she was gonna work on finding out why we were still waiting. They say they still didn't have confirmation. It's ridiculous, DO NOT WASTE YOR TIME!

They were really good to me. I have terrible credit unpaid hospital bills ,surgery etc... Went in for 2000 $ loan and got it without a co signer. Love it 😁
