I've had nothing but wonderful experience at Highmark. They go out of their way to provide excellent customer service. 10/10 I would recommend Highmark to everyone.

Everyone that answers the phone for Highmark, no matter what location picks up the central call, is wonderful! They are patient, respectful, and one in particular from the Custer office, Cherie I believe, goes above and beyond! I love the fact that Highmark Credit Union understands customer service, and treats their customers like humans, not just an account number. Thank you!

Our loan officer was amazing and really was instrumental throughout the whole homebuying process. She was always available to answer questions and was always helpful in ensuring that my wife and I had everything we needed to make sure things went smooth with the underwriter and at the title company. Would definitely recommend the home loan process here!

Worst banking experience, they do not offer convenient ways to pay vehicle loans, multiple hidden fees and stipulations. They screwed up my insurance paper work, took days to fix and threatened to add their own insurance to my motorcycle loan. Avoid this credit union for any type of business. I never leave reviews for anything but the public needs to know how horrible Highmark is!

I wouldn't give them a star if it was an option. My husband and I have banked with them for awhile decided on a new bank because random charges made NOT by us were made multiple times (I know other people this has happend to who banked with them at one point) anyways had to keep our savings account open because we had refinanced my husbands motorcycle do to some unexpected bills (this is the second time the first time we paid the loan off no problem but had jo emergencies then) this time we got behind a little I called and spoke to Gary atleast twice a month to set up payment plans because our unexpected bills were kicking our butt financially.. called him last week about making payments today, this last monday they sent someone to repo our motorcycle after I had already intended and told gary that we would be paying our balance up to date that he said was okay. So monday I told the repo guy I had spoken with the bank and set up arrangements today I call to pay balance up to date and was told I had to pay an extra $200 on top of the $300 I wanted to pay I told them I was unable to pay $500 that I wanted to pay the $300 nope GARY rudely said that it was the $500 or the bike or they would take legal action against us. Sure they are grate if you have NO unexpected bills come up but boy do they screw you over and go agents their word when you do and they don't work with you. if you decide to bank with them BE AWARE and god for bid you ever have emergencies accure forget them working with you. Not sure what happened but I use to refer this bank to everyone I knew just the last few years they have gone down hill greatly. Love our new bank and am so happy we switched from highmark. Just read the comments in the other reviews especially on the yellow page clearly we are not the first people thisnhas happened to.

Have been in 3 months in a row trying to fix our loans. Keep taking double payments each month then we have to fight to get our money back. They have even told me at least your paying off things quicker. But i want my money in my account not there's! Ready to call a lawyer maybe charge them with robbery or at least breech of contract.

Highmark can't or won't provide any of our business account data that is 4 months old or older in any of the common accounting formats for excel, Microsoft Money, Quicken, Quickbooks, etc. All they said they could give us was a PDF copy (so basically a picture) of our monthly statements.So, if you like doing manual accounting entries one at a time for your business, then I guess this is the bank for you. If you expect any financial institution existing in 2018 to be able to provide your simple account history (credits, debits, balance...) further back than 4 months in any spreadsheet/data format, you should just go anywhere else I suppose.Side issues: - Their website "transition" broke all of our business and personal online accounting bank feeds (which still don't work anymore months later) and locked us out of our online access for over a week before they were able to sort it out- Excessive and inconsistent holds placed on "large amount" checks- Mortgage lender was either ignorant or lied outright about timelines, causing a mortgage to fall through- $5 cost to replace any worn out debit card- They've almost made me miss Wells Fargo - that place where accounts are fraudulently created in your name. You know, like in house identity theft (...after they fraudulently sign you up and charge you for their identity theft protection)
