I just recently opened an account here with first service, and from the moment I walked through the door the staff members welcomed me in, and made me feel as if I was a member of their own family. The wait to be seen was at a very short and timely manner, I was also very shocked when the branch manager Damian Hernandez came out to introduce himself as well as got everything started up for me; he was very patient, professional, and made sure I understood everything before leaving. They've made a new member for life! I would definitely recommend these guys everyone I know!!!!

Opened an account and transferred a car loan after doing so on an off day I went in and made a deposit. On that day I was told they participated in shared beaching which I thought was great. A month later I wanted to make another deposit and every branch near me showed to be opened was permanently closed. Tried to set up a transfer from another bank and its a 2 day wait. Because they close so early I tried a shared branch to make a deposit and was denied. Called them and they said because it's a new account it's a 120 day wait and they could use my debit card to make the deposit but it's a 5 dollar fee and a 48 dollar convenience fee. How can I use this credit union as a primary banking source when every branch closes at or before 5 during the week and on the weekends, or are In a distant location if your in baytown or southwest houston. Very dissapointed in the way business is being conducted.*****UPDATE***** I was contacted by Upper management the next day after this review about rectifying my issues. My concerns have been addressed and hopefully adjustments will be made to make customer experiences more pleasant and less tedious.This is a great credit Union for loans and other banking needs outside of the issues I addressed from my experiences.***Update*** They changed the policies that created the issues I previously mentioned. This Credit Union is now rated AWESOME!

Been working with them for a year now. Never had the need to go to a branch i can do everything over the phone or computer. Fits my busy schedule perfectly. I an even deposit checks through a picture on my phone. Great customer service, competitive rates. Would highly recommend to do business with them

This CU is awesome. I went to First Service Credit Union to complete a shared branch transaction. They took care of my transaction so fast and the staff is so helpful and friendly! Best customer service!!

Rude staff. Manager wasnt even in the building. Charge you extra fees whenever they can. Check your credit to join another account even when you already have an account with them. Sounds like what Wells Fargo just got in trouble about. None of these issues ever fixed. Update: I responded to the VP of operations with a valid phone number and email address and still have not heard anything back. Dog and pony show with customer service. Definitely don't recommend. If I could give a Zero I would.

The initial representative who opened my checking account was amazing ! However , the loan banker that I spoke to, GIGI SCHOEMMELL, when inquiring about an auto loan makes me want to go back up there Monday morning and close my account . I am a first time car buyer. My car was damaged during Harvey and it has finally went out . So, I believed that going through a credit union was the best option for financing . I waited forty minutes . She skipped over my name on the list to be seen, and didn’t even greet me. She didn’t even ask my name ( she didn’t say it while reading the sheet she asked me to point to it ) . She kept asking me the make and model and VIN for the car I wanted and how much I wanted to get appproved for . I informed her that I was not completely sure and that I wanted to see how much I could get approved for before setting my mind on any one car. She asked me did I have twenty percent to give today for the loan that I wanted . When I told her that it depends on how much the loan will be she loudly said well when you get some more money , come back and gave me her card and walked away while I was still sitting at her desk to the next customer. She never once logged into her computer screen or even took the time to explain how their auto loan process works or even asked what my income or credit score was . I understand that it was busy as far as people waiting to be seen, but you don’t treat people like that. I deeply regret even coming into the location. She made me feel as though I wasn’t worth the time to explain the process to. I would have received better treatment elsewhere

Employees are not welcoming at all! The drive through is extremely slow ALL the time! 20+ min to deposit a check and I was literally the only customer! I will be looking for a new financial institution very soon if this type of service continues!

I stopped in on Friday at First Service CU to complete shared branch transactions since FCCU is now across town from me. The tellers were helpful & friendly, and provided great customer service.
