These people rock. They got us qualified for everything we wanted and then some. There were no shenanigans, just hard work and actually looking at our income. We own our own business and Long and Fosters mortgage guru would not approve us for half as much. We own three houses and are looking for more. FHM will be our choice!

My husband and I just purchased a new build from Stanley Martin at Parkside @ Westphalia about a week ago and we couldn't be happier. Thank you Jeffrey for your patience and quick responses from start to finish. You were a God send. We worked with several loan officers throughout the process so a special thanks also to Brad and a very, very, very special thanks to Samantha. No matter how many times (and it was ALOT lol ) I called or emailed her for an updated "Loan Scenerio" sheet, Samantha was always so very patient, accommodating and timely. Brea was our sales manager and she's simply the best of the best!!!! Always professional, kind, knowledgeable and responsive. If you ever get a chance to work with her you won't be disappointed. When Brea was not available Nick and Karen was always so helpful. If you're looking for a new home at Parkside please stop by to see one of them.

We have been working with FHM for the past few months. Overall the process was fine until the closing of our home. Once we communicated our concerns, FHM did a great job of assisting us and making sure we got the help we needed. I would like to give a special thanks to Mr. John Russell who assisted us throughout this process (203K loan), and worked hard to rectify mistakes made that would have negatively affected our closing. I would recommend that any home buyer, no matter which mortgage company, to do as much research as possible so that you are aware of all of the rules & regulations for your loan type. Self advocacy goes a long way in the home buying process.

First Heritage (FH) was recommended by Stanley Martin. As a military family, FH has been nothing but an unorganized headache. We've had to provide proof of service documents (e.g. earning statements, orders) and many other documents numerous times because communication and the passing along of information isn't a strength of the team we're currently working with. If that wasn't enough, they've now asked for a letter from our commanding officer. For a VA Loan, I get it, proof of service is necessary, but there are requirements that must be met to qualify for a VA Loan in the first place. As willing as he would have been to provide one, a letter is a complete waste of my Commander's time. Just a hassle to consider when making the decision to move forward with FH using a VA loan.

I can't say enough in terms of how helpful Mr. Kilkeary and the GM Mortgage team was for my wife and I. We recently purchased a new home and were assisted by Mr. Kilkeary. His professionalism and expertise allowed us to purchase this home with relative ease. Everything was explained clearly to us, and any questions we had were answered in great detail but in a way that was still easy to understand.A big thank you to GM Mortgage and Mr. Mark Kilkeary.
