We recently opened an account here, and went to deposit a paycheck from Smith's Food and Drug. We were told that they needed to place a 2 day hold on the check. Fine, I thought, no big deal. We are now 5 days out from when they placed the hold, and it still hasn't been released. We called customer service and were told that the hold would be in place until July 19, two weeks from when it was placed. On top of that, they are now trying to charge an overdraft fee even though we have the money in the account!I understand temporary holds, but placing a two week hold on a check from a gigantic national corporation, and then charging overdrafts because they didn't release the hold when they said they would is absurd. I will be taking my business elsewhere, and I highly recommend you do the same.

Told me my car payment was taken care of the for the month, when no money was taken out of my account, I told the person I was speaking to multiple time it was odd for it not to show the payment being taken out, next month came and I talked to someone and said that the payment was indeed not paid for, I called multiple times to fix my direct deposit and it took me reaching out to the ceo to get this taken care of, it lowered my credit score quite a bit not making that payment, if you ever get a car loan don't go to this credit union specifically. It should have been taking care of a while ago and it shouldn't have shown up on my credit that I didn't make a payment cause I had the money to make it and I called it shouldn't fall back on me just because employees that work at 2 to 3 don't know how to do their job right.

Excellent customer service. Those personnel at the desk are so friendly and willing to answer any questions I had. They also have a free investment consultant who met with me at my convenient time and offered some great advice in that direction. I'm excited to be banking at DFCU and totally recommend to anyone!

Great bank for BYU students. Staff is always friendly. The soda on tap is great. It’s quiet enough with a decent atmosphere you could even do homework here if you wanted. Oh and the location is great too!

I have only had positive experiences with DFCU. I regularly go into the Provo branch to make deposits, and I am treated like family. The crew even knows me by name! They are always so positive, extremely helpful, and always seek to find ways to improve. I am thoroughly satisfied with their product and customer service, and see no reason for them to earn anything less than 5 stars

You guys should really fix your hours. Today I drove 25 minutes to your branch because it said it was open until 7pm, but it isn’t. Only your ATM’s are open until 7pm. Not specifying that can make it a huge inconvenience in some cases.
