I have been a customer of Baylands for a little over 5 years. I must admit my first few interactions at Baylands (West Point) were very unpleasant. I applied for a small personal loan to pay off a few medical bills and was asked to bring in proof of the bills. I bank with another Credit Union and was phoned 3 days before and preapproved for a personal loan at well over (by thousands of dollars) the amount that I requested from Baylands. I was shocked that I had to drive home to locate the medical bill to show proof that the bills did in fact exist. Additionally, the rep who assisted tried to persuade me to have them pay the bill directly to the debtor versus giving me the finds to pay on my own. The impression was that I" dont trust you to pay the bill so I'll do it for you"!The loan was repaid well before the due date in full!!Fast forward 2 years later...the service has improved 10 fold! I visited this branch yesterday and the teller at the counter recognized me by face and name and greeted me accordingly! She was patient and responsive to my needs. I have contemplated closing my account and keeping my banking affairs with the other credit unions, who hold my car finance and mortgage anoung other banking needs. However, after this interaction; I will continue my banking relationship with them!Kudos to the teller (wish I knew her name) for providing excellent customer service!

Amazing place to trust your money and your time! I’ve been with them since I was able to open my first check card and they have been the most helpful and understanding people I have ever worked with. Desiree’ is amazing to talk to about loans and helps you understand the process and everything that goes into one so you are confident in what you are doing. They are by far the friendliest and most compassionate people I know and will continue recommend people to reach out and find out about their great perks such as with their grow green accounts, they pay higher interest to give you money back for more important things, their app which is easy to use and follow, but by far they are definitely Baylands FAMILY Credit Union, where families get more than just a credit union.

Best bank I've had yet. No fees of any kind, easy to use website, and the staff is hilarious, very friendly and helpful. I had an issue with fraud on my card recently and it was fixed and refunded in a very short time. Love this place!

So..... This place is garbage. I got a loan from them on a used car. One they are not easy to work with, main for the fact i was told that I could not set up a direct withdraw for the loan because I do not have a bakinng account with them. Second complaint is I have had them pull two hard credit inquiries, when I authorized only one. Once my loan is paid off I will never use them again. They're a joke. Also I am filing a dispute over them pulling two hard inquiries when I only authorized 1.

They made me feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed. One day i left there in tears. I was trying to get a loan for the first time. No one sat down and talked to me about the process. I had to keep going to bank to figure out what's was going on.i was not made to feel likes valued customer. I've been banking with BayLands for 5yrs or better. It was just terrible. Honestly I don't think I want to get anything through them because of this.8/8/2017A BayLands head manager reached out to me and made sure that my situation was heard and corrected. They apologized and worked hard to help me get the loan i needed. I have noticed that the customer service has continued to improve. I am very appreciative of them for helping me get what i needed to help me support my family as a single parent. thank you.
