I needed a checking account for a non profit group I was heading. My bank couldn't offer it free so I was referred here from the org. I figured since it wasn't going to be my primary banking and only using it when needed. I have set up multiple accounts from several different banks. I have no issues with the way the place operates per say, but here are some of the reasons I give it one start.-never once have I ever been able to call and talk to a person without waiting 20 mins or more on hold or waiting several hours for a call back. I feel this is acceptable at certain times, but this has been every time I have contacted them.-online banking has never been able to be set up- I found out later it was because the rep who set up the account punched in some numbers wrong so when I always tried to use what I had it never worked-I don't know if it's computers or the people, but simple deposits take an exceptionally long time. Drive through isn't too bad, but there have been times where I wondered what they were doing....-I don't feel the employees are trained well in observation. I was waiting in line and twice while I was in line other customers walked right in front of me and they serviced them. I said something and they told me they just help whoever gets up to the counter.....If these things don't bother you than I think you will be good, but for me it's not a place I would recommend to friends......

I am a Westconsin fan! Great interest rates and willing to work with their clients. I switched from my previous bank that I was with for 25 years but anytime I needed a loan the interest rates were better elsewhere. With Westconsin they always give me the best rates! This credit union values people!

Extremely helpful friendly staff however every time we need to open a new business checking account corporate requires credit to be pulled... They have already pulled mine 3 times within 6 months... I had perfect credit and it keeps dropping every time they pull it... Very frustrating and I recommend corporate change this policy!

I went in at 1145 on a Saturday. I was looking just to make a payment on my car loan and asked if they were able to open a checking account on Saturdays because of my weekly hours it is hard to get to the location before it was closed. They said they do and I told them then didnt have to do it rigth now because they closed in 15 minutes but they said it wasnt a problem and took care of me without making me feel bad about it! I left WellsFargo for Westconsin and am happy I did!!This review was shortly after I opened my account it's about a month later and I no longer am happy about banking with Westconsin. They are so inconvenient. The mobile deposit is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. The funds are not automatically available like they are at any other financial institution. They rejected a mobile deposit and never notified me that it was rejected. There is no option to make a cash deposit at an ATM. How people can be happy with them is beyond me at this point. My card is being declined today on Sunday and there is no 800 to contact anyone so I will just not have any access to my money until tomorrow which is awesome at the end of a holiday weekend. If you are considering bank here I would really advise against it.

These folks have made life very easy and seem to be the most pleasant tellers I have ever encountered. I only go to the Eau Claire office. They are almost to nice i keep asking them what they get fed because the attitude i get from them is absolutely awesome. Would and have recommended them to many folks :)
