Great service, low cost, works great!

Wells Fargo Payroll Service costs a little less than competitors but the service sucks. Their call representatives are not trained in payroll matters at all. If you don't know how to record 2% shareholder health insurance on a W-2 you should not be in the payroll business. Wells Fargo should not be the in payroll business.

While fees are slightly less than competitors like ADP for most users, customer service is cumbersome and un-responsive if you have an issue outside of narrow parameters. Mine is that I had to let an employee go who had access to the online platform. I own the company, but 2 months later Wells has yet to verify my identity thus I have not been able to access any reports or report payroll online. Frustrating experience! More frustrating for my employees that I have to manually hand write pay checks while I figure out how to re-access their system.

Had an issue where requested documents were sent to the owners home instead of the place of business. Called Customer service and had those documents sent to me within a minute of speaking with the representative. Great customer service experience.

July 2016) -- So, MN just refunded millions of unemployment insurance (UI) dollars to employers, to be applied against future payments. It's effective 7/1/16 - 6/30/17. Great, right? Except Wells Fargo Payroll Service will not apply my current quarterly charge (July, 2016 due date) because "they didn't know about it." Really?? When challenged, the person back tracked and said yes, maybe they did know, but not by individual company. So I requested a refund. No can do!! That's the straw; after the incorrect deduction setup for a Roth 401k, the incorrect transmission of payroll withholdings and too many other items, I'm moving payroll services. Anyone have any suggestions??

They screwed my tax , they did not reported my tax withhold to CA state, I opened a ticket to resolve , but after a month come back with a reply telling , re state the issue. Worst business payroll, don't go with them. Worst support and customer care .

They dont even deserve the 1 start but you have to choose a star to post your review....Very disappointed with the payroll service. The ball has been dropped so many times with different "departments". There have been issues since the time of enrollment.

Not helpful. Poor support. To even reach customer support you have to listen to multiple adds - it takes an impossibly long time to speak with someone. And I've called multiple times to make the same change to an account...and they still haven't been made. If you're searching for payroll services, I'd look elsewhere.
