Kristin Velladao has been incredibly unprofessional and challenging to work with. Her communication is poor and she has waited until the last minute to complete things during all of my dealings with her. I would not recommend her.

I've been a client of Tom's for many years and only have great things to say about him and the folks over at UHV. Every year they handle my personal return, including a few rentals, my business' return, and my kid's trust returns. He also did my estate planning a few years back. I absolutely trust Tom will all my tax planning and legal tax questions. He's a lawyer, a CPA, and a good guy.

Terrible experience. They submitted our taxes 6:30pm on filing date. Called my husband instead of me , even though I had been the household contact from the get-go. We missed the payment deadline and had to pay a late fee, told my husband on the phone that we owed about $14K more than the year before. Everyone in their office disappeared the day after so was unable to get a copy of our return and understand why our federal tax was so high. Two stressful days later was finally able to get someone in their Napa office to send me a PDF which was the point I realized he had added our CA refund to our Federal Debt, difference of $14K. Never received an apology for the mistake, headache and stress BUT I did received an insulting, nasty response when I expressed my frustration. It continued to get worse, but I can stop there. Do yourself a favor and find another accountant.
