Staff seem overwhelmed. Product is so so- like most pawn shops it works if you're in a pinch. I've mainly used them as a transfer hub as they are one of the few FLL dealers in the Athens area. They have a fair transfer fee but they take several days to get everything ready for pickup. My firearm was delivered on a Friday and wasn't ready for me to pickup until Monday (they are closed on Sundays). Staff has always been pretty friendly when I go in there. My advice to management would be to hire more staff. Customers don't like to wait when they've already been waiting. I'll probably look for another FLL dealer in the future.

Realistically they are buying and selling used staff so it’s a business but my experience I bought a chain saw didn’t work like I expected they gave me my money back with in the warranty 30 days , he ask one question and that’s it in and out Earlier I bought a compressor and it was worth it to fix it I still have it and after some minor repairs it’s working great so is up to you to make sure it’s what you want . But I like this place

They obviously don't test anything they sell. This became apparent to me after they sold me a simple home sound system that does not work!

Always friendly and helpfull. Very respectful to each individual no one has ever been rude to me. They even give you a courteous call so as not to lose your property. Not many places are that considerate. If you have a problem there then more than likely it's you and not their customer service. I have seen them in action, staying late to help, lowering prices to make the sale, even working with payments due. So needless to say I ❤️ my U.S. MONEY PAWN!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!! DROPS MIC

I actually shop here a lot cause I like the layaway. But after today I doubt I'll be back. First thing- I was on Congress parkway headed to pick up my latest layaway item when a white car started riding my but, the speed limit is 45 and I was doing 50 and shevwas pushing me to faster. When I wouldn't speed up she flew around me then got in front me. Well the car in front of her stopped to turn left and that made her even madder. She threw here hand out the window and flipped the car of then flipped me off. (Guess she didn't know we was pulling into the same place) she pulled into the pawn shop parking on the side of the building where employees park. Her vehicle was white and kinda looked like a suv but not as big. The tags were Blount county and she was a heavy set lady with short dark hair. Great way to be treated huh. Lucky for her I wasn't a crazy person with anger problems. Now on to the prices. I used to love to buy from this place when it was just a pawn shop before the 1st move. Now it's a store that gives people 5 dollars for there stiff and sales it for 100. The jewelry prices are absolutely ridiculous. I shop at the pawn shop in knox and pay half. Or online is still a ton cheaper and it's brand new. I feel like this place takes advantage of the fact that we r a small town without the option to go shop multiple pawn shops. Greed should be the new name of the place. They care nothing about the customers anymore. Due to the experience i had today with the employee I will be going out of Athens to make my pawn shop purchases in the future. Or I will shop online.

Under new ownership maybe the last owners took the animals with them. They sold off all the accessories and all the old g funs so all they have left are new g funs. They no longer allow locals to pawn theirs. They buy new. I am a cc g fun owner because a man threatened to kill me and my kids. I need to carry and there are people out there who want to ensure that only the guy threatening me gets access. With 3D printing no one is going to be able to stop it or regulate them. You might as well make it easier for people like me to protect me and my own. Oh and if you're wondering why I'm obfuscating the actual word pertaining to the subject matter here, it's because of some of my reviews not being considered 'allowed' for others to see.
