Feedback:

Everyone is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It is refreshing!

Feedback:

Yesterday, I noticed that my account had been compromised around 8 am. With the dedicated help of Danielle and Tammy, my pending mortgage payment didn’t get denied, the paperwork was ready for me to sign after work, I had a new debit card by 4 pm, my account was replenished by 8 pm, and I was back in business by noon today. The Tri-CU app also makes it easy to disable your card right from your phone. For the intensity of this situation, Tri-CU made it as stress free as possible!

Feedback:

Very friendly and understanding staff and they're willing to work with you in virtually any financial situation. I couldn't be happier with the service I receive from them

Feedback:

BRANDY from the loan department or whatever her name is she doesn't have an idea of what customer service is, she is cold and rude in person and over the phone, she will never call you back to follow up with you if she thinks you are not worthy, when I talked to her she was distracted and not paying attention to me not sure if because I am latino?? Is that the case .. lady you are in TC 👀LOOK AROUND I decided to close my account with them and go to GESA, A WAY BETTER ORGANIZATION.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL !!

Feedback:

They always know who I am when I walk in the door. They are very personable! I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Feedback:

Excellent service thank you

Feedback:

Highly not recommended. Staff are slow and rude and never seem to get things done correctly since moving to the bigger location.

Feedback:

Me and my spouse have credit scores of 866 and 839, we have a joint income of $279K, and our net worth is $1.8 million. At the time of the application we had $157,985.35 in our checking account and we had less than $1K of unsecured debt. Our personal debt included a car payment of $1k and a mortgage payment of $1,250.00. The president of TriCU (Doug), who also doubles as the VP of lending (aka the head underwriter) and who personally makes most lending decisions, decided that he would totally ignore all relevant fair lending laws and deny my application for a credit card. Doug and I have a history that involves me calling him out on bad banking practices back in 2010ish. I pressured the CU to get with the times and start reporting to all three credit bureaus, instead of just TransUnion, like they had done up to that point. Doug insisted that it was customary for CU's to only report to one credit bureau. Only after I showed him that every other CU in the region was reporting to all three credit bureaus, did he realize how foolish he was behaving and ultimately changed the policy. It's been my experience that Doug becomes unhinged when challenged by a member. Even if he is dead wrong, he will dig in and fight you with every shred of his power as president, even if that means violating banking rules or laws.Doug will also let his personal opinion of members get in the way of fair lending decisions. My credit score, income, and debt to income ratio, make possibly the best credit profile that has ever walked through Tri-CU's doors, yet a palpable bias was clear to me throughout the entire transaction. Further proof of this unlawful bias is that shortly after my denial for "any amount of credit," I was able to get a $40K unsecured card from a competing credit union. Consumers have laws to protect us from people like Doug. If I had more time, I would gladly guide the proper government officials to this issue, but writing this review is all the time I'm willing to spend informing the public of this troubled institution.Update: The response from Tri-CU indicating that their actions were " legal and appropriate" is flatly absurd and clearly contradicted by the fact that I was later approved for four times the requested credit limit by a competing credit union. When I spoke to the competing underwriters at two separate credit unions, they uniformly told me that my credit worthiness is unquestionably of the highest quality and that something very troubling is going on at Tri-CU. All credit unions use essentially the same underwriting guidelines, as the guidelines are effectively required by law, but not all institutions are ruled by a tyrant like Doug. It is against lending laws to deny a credit application because you have a personal problem with a member. Doug's personal opinion of me was the only factor at play. All Tri-CU members should be deeply troubled by Doug's actions.Lastly, if Tri-CU feels they did nothing wrong, than I would encourage them to mail me an explanation of the lending decision that would validate their denial and hold up to scrutiny from underwriting experts. If Tri-CU's decision was consistent with standardized underwriting practices, I will gladly remove this post. If this post is still up, I haven't yet received a valid response from Tri-CU.

Feedback:

DO NOT use atm for deposits u less you want funds held for extra long. Finally got the perk of atm with new location only to find out that funds are held for longer period. As a long time member, it is disappointing that there was no work around offered from management or at the very least a notice posted on atm to inform you of waiting period. Thought I would bank here forever, but tired of jumping through hoops.

Feedback:

Every person I spoke to told me something different and a member told me to put false info on an application because I had to.
