Feedback:

Not knowing what to expect, both Bridgette and Shelley at the South Hills location, were very sweet and knowledgeable. I was greeted with a big smile upon entering and was pleasantly surprised to hear what the items were worth. Most gold pieces I had would never be worn, so it made sense to sell them. I highly recommend the South Hills location and have already told some of my friends about them. I'm so glad I decided to stop in.

Feedback:

I go to the South Hills office when I want to sell old jewelry. The employees are always very friendly, helpful and trustworthy! Thank you Treasure Hunt!!

Feedback:

They tried to cheat me , make sure you know the penny weight of gold first. There are easy conversion charts online. They offered only 2/3 of what it was worth.

Feedback:

I’ve dealt with Treasure Hunt for years because they are always friendly and fair. I trust them to give me the best deal whether I’m buying or selling.

Feedback:

I visited Treasure Hunt last week to see about getting rid of some old jewelry that I had not worn in years. I had no idea what to expect. I was so pleasantly surprised by my experience. The associate that worked with me was kind and helpful. The process was both quick and thorough. I feel like the price I got exceeded what I expected and I will absolutely go back. I highly recommend.

Feedback:

The South Hills Treasure Hunt, especially Alyssa, was very helpful, making my wife's visit a most pleasant and profitable one. We'll be back very soon and will relate the experience to our friends.

Feedback:

My father recently passed away. We found a bunch of old coins including two gold pieces. My brothers and I did a little research to find out the value of the gold pieces. We decided to go to Treasure Hunt because of all the radio advertising. We were so relieved and pleased that they offered us the comparable value for the gold coins. At a very stressful time, it was nice that the Treasure Hunt experience was very satisfying and rewarding. Totally recommend Treasure Hunt

Feedback:

2 months ago I went in to Treasure Hunt to sell my wedding rings. The woman behind the counter explained that my princess cut diamond was, "not in style anymore", and the diamonds in my wedding band were not worth anything. She did spent some time explaining about markup in chain jewelry stores. I knew jewelry stores commonly made a habit of selling things for well over there actual value, but I felt that the offer was low, so I walked away. Today, I went to another store, and was offered almost double what Treasure Hunt offered. I was stunned. The clerk, at the new establishment, spent a considerable amount of time counting the diamonds, explaining the process, talking about how this would be an easy set to sale, because, "people love this setting", and telling me that the gold was 14 carat. Treasure Hunt told me I had 10 Carat gold. I was informed that gold prices were higher when I originally took my rings in to Treasure Hunt, so I probably could have made more on the gold 2 months ago. I was flabbergasted, I had read reviews about Treaure Hunt, and assumed I was getting an honest evaluation, but my gut told me to walk away. I am glad I did. I would Not recommend this establishment to anyone.

Feedback:

My father saved a lot of silver coins of varying type, date, value and condition. There are six of us children and they were to be divided amongst us. Three of us wanted to cash in and three of us wanted to keep the coins. Bridgett at the South Hills Treasure Hunt was exceptional in her knowledge, patience and graciousness in accommodating us in this endeavor. She meticulously went thru all of the coins, separated any specials, then divided the common coins into six. This request was not typical and Bridgett handled it smoothly and with a smile on her face. She made what could have been a difficult experience a pleasure. Thank you !!!

Feedback:

I took several pieces to Treasure Hunt in Cranberry, PA. They ended up offering $260. There were 8 rings, some silver. One of the rings had small diamonds In a cascade. Another ring had larger stones. They tested the gold, and examined the diamonds. They claimed that they only pay for diamonds if they are a certain size (which I believed one of the rings were).I also had 3 bracelets and a silver necklace with small diamonds. It’s kind of odd? They told me that they don’t pay extra for the stones, but they examine each and every diamond to be sure they are real. So basically they pay you for the gold and keep the diamonds. They claimed that stones more than likely wouldn’t be good enough to put into another settings. As they say, they don’t pay extra for the stones, but you better believe they take the time to make sure that those stones, which they don’t pay extra for are real. So it’s strictly the gold they are interested in. Yah, ok. Over 12 pieces of jewelry, they offered $260. And guess what, they keep the stones. If I had come in with just the rings with the stones removed, think that would have taken them? I think not. I was ripped off, low balled and taken for a ride. The jewelry had great sentimental value to me.Had I not needed the money immediately for my Kids, I would have shopped around. I HIGHLY do not recommend Treasure Hunt for anything.
