I felt a little irked myself when I got the charge on my credit card statement, but when I called them they allowed me a full refund, so I'm thinking most of the reviewers here haven't just tried calling the company. I got my magazine through a frequent flyer membership deal, but I just forgot to opt out when the deal expired. I'd probably do one of those deals again, or if they have some discount subscriptions for People. The lady I spoke to on their phone was really very nice, once I got through.
