I felt a little irked myself when I got the charge on my credit card statement, but when I called them they allowed me a full refund, so I'm thinking most of the reviewers here haven't just tried calling the company. I got my magazine through a frequent flyer membership deal, but I just forgot to opt out when the deal expired. I'd probably do one of those deals again, or if they have some discount subscriptions for People. The lady I spoke to on their phone was really very nice, once I got through.

If you start a class action suit, please include me! I received a "free" subscription to Yoga Journal if you can imagine, which I didn't enjoy, though assumed it would expire after the first year. Now they charge my card every month. Yoga Journal would not cancel my subscription, and although my credit card company signed me up for this slimy service, I had to cancel my credit card to make these charges stop. I"m not sure how this is legal, but beware of the 'free magazine' to use up expiring credit card points.

This company is a SCAM! 👊 People have to file a lawsuit against this business. Call ur Attorney General and BBB. It's time to rip this guys off now! Synapse Group has to be fined annually untill they call to a "non-existent phone number" and opts out from angry customers! I wish this business all of the attention of the Government! Go out of business as**ls!! People have no need of ur toilet read 💩 (with hidden auto subscription) initially for 2$ and then for 50 $!!!

Absolutely terrible. They billed me for magazine subscriptions without my consent and had an automated system to when I called to cancel my subscriptions. It took 15 minutes with their system to cancel 4 magazine subscriptions.

They are an absolute snake business! Avoid any magazine deals with this nasty business. They ask if you want to try a magazine for a cheaper fair price, for a promotion, and then the sneak in a few months later, without ever telling you what you will actually be charged down the road charging an astronomical price directly to your Credit card, hoping you don't catch it. NASTY! I would have given them a negative -5 stars, but it was not an option.

Scam. I signed up for one (1) magazi e, and got 8 subscriptions, all taken out of my credit card, that I could not get them to Stop or refund. With "auto-renewal" on each magazine.
