Feedback:

Do not get a Smart Finacial credit card. I have been having a Smart financial credit card for a few years. After 6 months of having it, I could not log into the account to look at my statements and I haven’t been able to look at them for over two years. I can only see the paper statements that come in through the mail. I had to sign up for automatic payments but if I want to make a higher payments I have to go in person. Whenever I called about this , the representative isn’t sure about what to say. The same happens in person. I actually gave up on trying to log in and now I am here to warn others. I will also close my credit car card once all payments are made.

The local branch members are wonderful and always helpful. Yet, if you every need to call the Smart Financial Credit Union customer service phone line you will always have to wait 10 to 20 minutes to speak with someone no matter the time of day. The representatives are busy message is what you will hear during that time. Sad. One of the main reasons I didn't go with them on my new auto loan.

I have been a customer of SFCU for about 16 yrs when it used to be in Oak Ridge North ,now nearest location on Rayford Rd. flooded for 2nd time and are only going to have ATMs for outside banking when it reopens.I will miss friendly rapport with tellers,I like it being personal not just a machine.This branch has always been nice and helpful during any situation everything always done in timely manner I give it 5 stars for service and convenience I will miss having tellers for service

I have been banking with Smart Financial for 9 Years both personally and business, I have never had as good of customer service from any other banks in my life time. 4 years ago I closed accounts at two other banks and started using only Smart Financial. Move all om loans over to them could not be happier. I am glad they have the Rayford Rd branch back open after the flood. When they opened last time from the flood I thought I was going to hate the new teller machines. But now I love them its cut our in the bank time down to 1/2 the time. Got a mortgage from Smart Financial and got a great rate, but they don't do auto payments unless you have a checking account with them. So I have to go in to the branch to make a payment. It's 2018, SFCU. Get with the program.

Done expect any help here, only one representative the last 3 times I’ve visited. Not an actual branch.** Edit** I did ask for a manager and one was not avail able. Only one actual person in site. If you aren’t gonna have a full actual branch do not pretend there is a manager here to take care of any escalationes because there wasn’t one. You guys have great perks as a credit union but the level of customer service at this “branch” is truly something to be ashamed of. I am a retail manager, I know what great customer service looks and feels like. This is something currently not found at this location. Thank you for your concern. I hope you can correct the issues here as you guys don’t have that many places of business to begin with.

I am now advised that since they flooded there is no plan to bring back full service including live tellers. Great if you don't mind working with machines, but not for me. I have been with this bank almost all my life and my parents have also been with this bank for many years as well we have never had a problem with this bank as well as they have always been very prompt and courteous to us. I recommend this credit union for anyone who is just starting off with the bank they really did help me out to learn about all my financial needs and situations I was in!!
