Feedback:

No star. I have my mortgage and my savings in this bank. I am trying to get hold of my account manager and she is not returning my call. What can I say. Is it time for me to move out? any advice? J. Nurse is my account manager. I hope she sees this and contacts me.

Feedback:

Had the worst Scotia bank experience with multiple points of failure. I made a bill payment via their online website as I always do. Never had a problem with it in the past, however, this time it made the payment through my Visa card and charged me a cash advance and transfer fee. No problem, probably a system error. I can understand mistakes happen. I call their customer service and explain the situation and the guy, Sebastian, tries to blame me it on me as a human error. He tries to tell me it's not possible for it to happen. Sorry, but I've worked with IT departments throughout my career and when they are making updates to their system, technical errors like these can happen. They probably rerouted all payments to the users Visa cards by accident. If it was human error. I would have had to physically click on the drop down menu in the "Bill payment" section and choose my Visa card. Put in my dollar amount. I would have needed to do it 3 times. THREE TIMES for each payment transactions. I would have needed to be drunk to have done that. Considering I've been paying my bills online for several years and have never made a mistake I find it hard to believe I would purposely choose the wrong payment method. Please own up to your own errors and stop trying to blame it on your customers Scotia.

Stay away. When you eventually have an issue, which you WILL with scotiabank, and need support you will be routed through 100 different Indian support agents that have no idea what they're doing.

I’ve been dealing with Scotiabank for over forty years. I wouldn’t dream of switching.

They'd leave you wondering if they pranked you or not! **TLDR; I visited this branch twice to increase my credit card limit and not only was my scheduled appointment not honored, my request was also not fulfilled.**Long version:Yesterday I visited this branch to increase my credit card limit because the customer care told me that this has to be done in a branch as I am under some multicultural program or something. I was told that this cannot be done over the counter and has to be consulted with a financial advisor. I was given an appointment the next day at 1pm to meet with one of the financial advisors. I was even sent a mail for the scheduled appointment.Today 12:58PM, I present myself at the reception as scheduled. The person at reception informs me to wait. Later she comes to me and apologizes that the financial advisor has a conflict with some other appointment (You guys gave me the appointment!!!). So I wait 15 mins. At 1:15PM I was taken to the financial advisor's cabin. I let him know my purpose of visit. He's giving unclear answers like he has to feed my request to the system and system may approve or reject it. When I asked if it is not in his discretion to increase my credit limit, he says yes! Now I'm confused. A little while later, he says there's a human override that can be done. Note that all these info is coming in instalments when probed. Finally I said that I am about to change my employment and my income may increase, the financial advisor seemed to have taken that as a timely reason not to increase my credit limit and asked me to revisit the branch once I have the new paystub!

Horrible Experiences at this location led me to close all my accounts with Scotia. I have been a client for almost 5 years and was treated like a dog on a leash. I had such limited funds available...$400 daily withrawal limit..had to wait a month for a U$ government check to clear????..the list goes on. I threatened to close my accounts if i can't withraw my own cash and was met with a "😒"face from a young "supervisor" names "RAMEESA". I eventually did close my accounts and she did not even try to keep me as a Scotia customer. What a great asset RAMEESA must be for Scotia!!! 😂😂😂😂I ran back to BMO and would advise everybody to do the same. I was shocked to read the bad reviews about multiple Scotiabank locations..such as Yonge/Wellesley and Bay/Bloor on google. So happy that i am done with them. GO BMO GO!!!!
