Chip in debit card stopped working. I asked for a new card to be sent to me(7 days), they did NOT warn me that my current card would be cancelled(tried using it at store). Who in their right mind would not tell someone they would have 7-days without a debit card, if you choose to have it mailed? Called at 9, was on hold for 15mins. When I spoke to customer service I dropped a couple f bombs(not directed at them) and they snapped at me, told me to watch my language. If they told me my current card would be terminated, while ordering a new one and having it mailed, I wouldnt have chosen that. Now I have to go to a branch location, and instead of picking up a new card I feel I should close my account and go elsewhere.Edit/UPDATE: Reply to Rivermark's reply. If you read the chat even briefly, you could also see that I was only asking for a replacement because my CHIP did not work. I never once said my card was stolen or lost. Later in the chat I asked a general question curious to what happens when people need a replacement when their card is stolen or lost. It was a inquiry, not my current situation.Plain and simple. Asked for a replacement card because my chip no longer worked. Person on Rivermark chat DID NOT say my current(and working) card was subject to cancellation upon agreement of having new card sent through the mail. Not a peep of warning. That is why I looked like an idiot at the store trying to buy something with a cancelled card. I needed to clarify that. Your reply makes me look incompetent and/or culpable, and fails to take 100% accountability on your part.
