Feedback:

DO NOT GO THROUGH WITH THIS COMPANY. They do not allow credit cards for payments and WE WERE NOT ADVISED of this by the person selling our SaladMaster set. Seems like missing information is the key to fraud people of their money. Read all the other reviews.

I WAS WRONG. I have written many negative reviews about this company. The reviews I left were solely emotional based reviews. I have realized after much time that I was wrong in doing so. Preferred Credit is overall a great company. Working here has set me far beyond what I could imagine for work experience. The coworkers you meet here are people who you will know for a long time. I made many friends working here and still to this day talk to them. The relationships I have built at this company doesn't compare to any other place I have worked at. In all companies you will meet people you dislike and that is normal. I too met people here who I didn't like and who I misjudged because I acted emotionally. I now have realized my wrong-doings and sincerely apologize for them. Overall, Preferred Credit is a great finance company who treats their employees and customers with respect. Many of these reviews on here are negative due to customers being delinquent. Unfortunately when owning/running a finance company, that is how it will turn out. Very rarely do people leave a good review for finance companies because those who have had a good experience don't want to leave a review out of laziness. Those who feel they have been wronged by finance companies will leave a bad review. Preferred Credit has been recognized as a respected company by the BBB and one of St. Cloud's top places to work, because PCI truly is a good company. Countless times has PCI provided food to their employees just because. They take pride in their work and employees, which they rightfully should. I remember on bad winter days, PCI would allow their employees to leave early because they care about their safety and would rather lose money than risk an employees safety. Over my time at PCI I have respected them for many reasons. Not only do they care about employee well being, but they also care a lot about their customers. When hurricanes hit Puerto Rico and Texas, PCI deferred their payments and didn't charge the customers fees due to the disasters. They do truly care about their customers and employees. I recommend financing with such a forgiving company, as well as work for them. Experience here looks amazing on a resume and they do treat their employees with respect. Again, I would like to reiterate how deeply sorry I am for leaving wrongful negative reviews about PCI.

6 months ago we bought our first home and Florida Energy came to our house and present us with a Rain Soft water softener system -- After almost cancelling with them we decided to keep the system with them and financed it thru PREFERRED CREDIT INC. (PCI). 6 months down and here we are trying to refinance the house, I come to find out that THEY PUT A LIEN ON MY TITLE on my house!!! They do not disclose this to you during the transaction, however they will blanket the whole statement and ask you "if you've read all the disclosures" I get that its my fault not reading word per word but this is ONE THING they need to disclose during closing of anything!!! BEWARE OF WHAT YOU"RE GETTING INTO! They're not even willing to help! DO NOT SIGN with this company they will make your life hard!

These people clearly aren’t about customer service. I would never recommend using them. I needed to push my payment out. They let me know they would report me to the credit bureau 10 days after my scheduled payment. 10 freakin days. My mortgage doesn’t even require that! Truly a terrible business.

Awful company! They make sure to steal your money, even when you are a good customer amd make your payments on time! 6 months worth of payments and they had yet applied any of it to the principal! So when you want to pay off early, you still are paying more than what you even financed with them, like hundreds more! True scam artists for sure!

I wish I didn't have to give them a star at all. I have a water filter system through them and they are just the worst company ever to have to deal with. I called to cancel a payment that I set up through THEIR automatic system because they aren't able to cancel my automatic payment from an account that I'm switching from so I had no money in that account so I set a payment to come out of the right account through the automatic system like maybe 30 minutes prior and they aren't able to cancel the payment that I set up through THEIR automatic system and the reason they aren't able to is because they don't have access to the payments that the customers set up through THEIR automatic system nor if we set up payments through the online system. None of this make sense at all and they have just the worst employees that talk over you and are just flat out rude especially supervisors. I don't recommend them for anything at all I wish I could cancel my water system and have it through another company but of course I cant do that neither so I guess I have to deal with them.
