They helped us out most definitely. Banks have made it so so hard to borrow now. We had 160K deposit to buy a 300K house and because credit was not perhaps perfect banks would not look at it. So it's a great way to get into the market if u need.

Please avoid this company, if they're your only option, read every single word before you sign anything. Make sure your customer details are updated constantly. My partner took out a loan with Pepper for a $7000 (rougly) car, and after all of the interest and fees etc, it's going to cost almost $16000. We moved and had numbers changed, but have had the same email address, which Pepper had contacted us on previously, however they claim that they couldn't contact us when we were (unknowingly) behind on our account, now we have over $700 in late fees because they couldn't send an email, and despite having an email chain history, they claim they didn't have our email address! Looking to get out of dealing with this company ASAP and will never go near them again.

Absolutely disgusted with the service I have received from this company. Paid my car loan out in full, they then still withdrew my fortnightly payment which left me broke for the fortnight. Rang Peppers and was told my payment would be refunded, 3 days later still no refund, called again and was told that I had to send them a screen shot of the payment made to prove that I had paid it even though the payment was showing on their end, so I did just that. Then received an email to call. Upon calling I was told that the screen shot was not acceptable that I had to show my full account statement with all account details including the before and after transactions showing that my account was debited or I have to wait 5-6 business days for my refund to be processed. They have my bank details and they have the overpayment, extremely unhappy that they will not process my refund at my request. Would never use Pepper Financial Services and would never recommend their service to anyone.

Bunch of criminals, told me i couldnt pay my loan in advance or i would get charged, find out im getting late fees and told i can pay in advance.. they will take every cent! wouldn't allow me to put 0 stars. Needs to be a royal commission into this company

If I could give no stars I would. Absolutely hopeless company for the past 8 months they have been calling for our new bank details we have updated them 6 times and received confirmation back from pepper saying thank you for updating yet every month we get charged late fees and receive the same phone call. (Lady today even said every 2nd payment works how strange) Ended up paying out contract today as we got fed up with dealing with idiots!

Pepper money is the biggest joke of a company I have ever met. Not once, not twice not even 4 times but 5 times I’ve rung up to rearrange my payments and the money still comes out of my account leaving me short pocketed and fuming. I rang up just last week asking for a payment to be moved the payment still came out. Do not use this company if you want lies and deceit cause thats all you’ll get! Just want to pay off my loan and be done with it ! 😡 😡

Quite difficult dealing with a company without a physical branch. Have to call several times for the problem with the account set-up to be fixed. I prefer a bank with a branch with someone I can talk to.

I contacted pepper customer service to see if my interest rate had gone down since the last two rate cuts and the most recent one. Guess what? They raised it instead.

Ridiculous start up fees, exit fees and broker payments.I'm all for people being paid for the work that is being done but when your loan has to be terminated prematurely through no fault of your own, to then be penalised by an early termination fee is completely unjust and deceptive. No where through out the process was I told about any of these fees and the letter from the broker misrepresented what they were being paid.Also, why have a customer call back system when no one calls you back in excess of a week? I should have done my homework before using these guys at all.
