Overall Feedback:

Got locked out of my Paypal credit card account. Was told to fill out sensitive information online regarding my personal identity including sending photos of the front in back of a state issued photo ID. So I did. I was told that my identity was still unable to be confirmed. How are you unable to confirm my identity when you have information like my social security number plus photographs of a state issued photo ID??Fast forward several months and I get locked out of my regular PayPal account. This time in order to establish my personal identity, I am asked sensitive information about my siblings, such as birthdays. Why am I being asked questions about other people and how is that related to my own personal identity? You need to be asking questions pertaining directly to my personal identity, not the identity of other people.PayPal - you are an incompetent business whose security protocols are too good for their own good.

FUC*paypal i sold a used phone ,it says we need some info from you ,they want my id ssn ,receipt/invoice,finally limited my acc because i cant provide receipt/invoice.

Terrible customer service. You cannot speak to a customer service rep in person. If you come here for said request, they will bring you to a room to call customer service while being watched by security.

Scammed and I thought I would be fine since they sent notifications to my phone asking if I made a payment "Reply 1 if yes or 2 if no. [Reply Needed]". However, i found out that i sent the No response "too late" which implies to me that this process was nothing more than security theater.

Advising all Paypal user do not keep any money into your Paypal account, Paypal will close your account when the money in the account is too many and they will tell you they have to review and hold your money for 180 days without giving you any reason.My money hold in Paypal more than 200 days now, no one can help you even you make complaint with their customer service.If incase you selling with Paypal or receive money with Paypal, quickly withdraw before it too late.

If you want support, even about sensitive financial accounts you must deal with people in foreign countries with NO ability to speak with an American. Not a fan and have disabled my accounts after 20 years! I think the way to make America great again is to hold American Companies to a standard that includes being about to deal with an American. Like we all haven't paid PayPal, Google, and YouTube enough to expect service we feel comfortable giving out our sensitive personal information to over the phone.
