Total fail. I have used several online lenders. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had. This isn't about being approved or not. This is about Mark , our rep from Optimum First, making bad assumptions and not following up on critical issues until it was too late. He wasted not just my time, but the time of my family, my realtor, the sellers, the sellers family and the sellers financial institution. The list goes on. Had the sellers not been so forgiving, there could have been a law suit against Optimum First. Mark's documented willingness to bypass federal regulations to make up time would have been (and may still be) of intetest to the CFPB and very relevant to the suit. Now that half of our real estate season is lost we're starting over. I hope this helps you make a better choice in lenders.
