Feedback:

I've been very happy with OnPoint for years :) Today, I'm particularly happy, because Molly was willing to meet me after the store closed on a Saturday to give me my wallet, which someone turned in. That's good people <3

Feedback:

Probably the worst place you can put your money. I have been with OnPoint since I was 6 years old when they were Portland Teachers CU. I also worked for them and left the company in 2016. Up until a few years ago, OnPoint had been an excellent place to bank but I can no longer stand doing business with them. Seeing the ins and outs of the company, everything is basically manually run and act like they're operating out of the 1920's. Don't expect to get your deposits in a timely manner either. Most banks will post deposits at midnight, with OP you must wait until someone is in the office at 7 am and even then, 7 am is not guaranteed! Pre-authorizations disapear over the weekend causing you to overspend and overdraw your account, you basically have to keep track of your charges like balancing a checkbook. Their online/mobile banking platform is a joke. The app is basically a web-friendly version of the full site. They used to have excellent rates on auto loans but now they can't even say that. If you have other options for banking, definitely go with one of those. I will be taking my business elsewhere after 20+ years of membership.

Feedback:

Favorite bank I’ve had. Everyone is very nice and welcoming. Definitely recommended Karmen Knutsen, she goes above and beyond to help you with anything you need. I will definitely recommend her and the bank to my friends and family.

Feedback:

Went in to make a 5-figure deposit into my checking account last Friday April 20th, where I'd left exactly $100 in my account. Much to my astonishment, I was informed that there was only approximately $15 in my account because I hadn't had any activity in my account. So no withdrawals or deposits in a 2-year period. The manager and teller explained that as a result, OnPoint deducted $5 each month as a penalty. At No Time was I ever informed when I opened this account that I would be penalized if I didn't show activity each month of my account. SO BEWARE!!! It's Flat-Out STEALING! Watch your accounts closely; better still, find another place to keep your money. Yes, I demanded they return my $100 but the manager refused and just stood there and stared at me like a bump on a log. With his total lack of communication skills, he shouldn't be in a management position. I'm disgusted!

So far so good. .

Very recent experience that has left me bewildered and a bit offended. Recently I changed jobs to a much more lucrative company and have had it with Bank of America fees. So credit union was in order. A friend refers me to OnPoint and this being the closest location to my work I dropped in during my lunch hour to open a few checking accounts. Was then informed by the banker who I won't name out of polity that I was reported by ChexSystems and could not open a account. If you don't know what Chexsystems is, its basically a database of people who have defrauded or have not paid fees to a bank. And requires a lengthy process to be removed from it. Now I have never done any of what it would take to get on this system and once I started researching it I was in a panic that identify theft had hit me again. Not to mention I had closed my accounts with BOA so was pretty up creek. We'll what-ya know, never happened. Went down to a a Point West Credit Union today and was informed that, no I am not on Chexsystems. So after 24 hours of panic and worry I have my new accounts with a different institution, no fuss, and am more then curious about my visit to OnPoint. I don't make assumptions about why I was shown the door but what I can say for sure is that I was rejected for a checking account of all things, on a outright lie.

Feedback:

There’s an Asian lady greeting you at the front. If you’re not a member, she basically talks AT you, doesn’t listen, and has a snobby attitude. Carmen however is articulate and at least attempts to answer your question. I came in to start a personal and business account after handling something but if I have to deal with that at the front door I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Feedback:

Feedback:

Taylor Stevens was unbelievable In all our times meeting with her regarding an auto loan with OnPoint. She made the process so easy and effortless on our part and was so upfront and open throughout it all. More banks need to have a Taylor Stevens working for them. We love our new car, and we love our new loan. Will definitely be back to work with her for our next purchase!
