Had to file suit in Superior Court to enforce the Freddie "proposed" modification of loan, mortgage, payment due period. Had I not filed suit they intended to foreclose. Paying in excess of 6.6% for the last decade and now extended 40 years I would have hoped for a better, warmer response to my request to modify my loan. Make $80 K yr. but my employer doesn't believe I had my clearance at PNS restored by OPM. So unemployed for now at the mercy of the bank. The issue: had I not had the money at the begin of each month as opposed to the allowance by Freddie of the entire month foreclosure would commence. Problem being my forced retirement, and now Social Security income, my only, starts in the middle of the month. Result-they backed down.
