Poor service rude tellers! Behind in the times of the banking world!

Best bank in area. Military paperwork is always slow. Don't blame the bank. People are kind and in 15 years, have spoken to one person that seemed tired and gruff...everyone else has been wonderful. It might not have all the bells and whistles that larger banks have, but when I walk in or call, I know the end result will leave me happy. A smaller bank requires some give and take. In this ME world, everyone wants everything Now, this minute. This bank is one of the best for handling those folks. I understand they are doing fantastic for a smaller bank. I had much rather do without (although their services seem to be in line with all larger, uncouth banks) a few services and feel like my bank cares about me. And, they do. They are a swell bunch of folks. Human error might occur occasionally, but last time I checked...no one is perfect. Best bank ever!!

Bad for militaryUsed to be named seymour johnson federal credit union. This bank cost met 6 years of my life and $10,000because of bad lending and credit reporting practices.If you are military stay away. They will hurt your credit. They base your loan on how long they cash hurt your military carrier. Not on credit. They think that is a favor to is. But after paying years on an Auto loan. They will have only shows one payment paid remark per year. Sending your score so low it's takes around 6 years to fix.

I have with this bank for more than 30yrs service was great up to 10yrs ago then my funds started to get mssingfrom my account, every time I inquired about my account missing funds I was told a bunch of lies. They don't even care that they have a two star rating.They use to be six star.they can't put my funds in the right account each month. I was told to keep a check myself each month to see if my funds where in the right account andthis a bank never heard of such fooliness.yes I know what you are saying, working on it.

Had an account since 1998 only to have credit deposits settle into, they have had a constant continuous flow of incompetent management to serve the masses. They can't even manage taking basic deposits. There's a reason there's only 1 location after being in business for so many years. They are horrible at what they do.

I have been banking with this Credit Union since 1997. They continually charge high prices for checks, are always lagging in modern day internet online services and have very little to no customer service at their locations, through the phone. I STILL have to send a copy of my DL and a letter every time I move, military mind you, and do it snail mail. I received a recent letter stating they would charge me $15 if I didn't respond with change of address in 15 days because they had returned mail. This is after they do nothing for ATM fees, charge an arm and leg for checks, have very little to no one available on the phone and just ancient in banking practices. I would switch all of my money to USAA if I could but am stuck with a direct deposit with them. They serve the military but if you don't live in NC anymore, you are out of luck with any kind of modernization or services. I don't think they should be allowed on base, if they are still on base. They offer me nothing for banking with them for 20 years but a letter threatening to charge me $15 for a returned mail notice..which again, I have to update my mailing by photocopying my Drivers License and sending it to them snail mail.

Great customer service and highly competitive rates. We got a very low interest rate on our mortgage that none of the other banks could match. They were also very patient with us as first time home buyers. I would recommend the for any of your banking needs.

cancels my debit card for fraud all the time and it takes days/ to figure out why instead of calling me to just verify that it is me...we have a joint account but my husband cant do anything without my permission or me being with him?..everything takes forever, cant change your pin number, just really don't recommend this credit union which is unfortunate because I don't like using banks.

The worst: takes weeks to process checks, statements are months behind, and employees are difficult it communicate with and get a hold of.
