Client Review on MTC Federal Credit Union

What a joke of a financial institution... my father passed away, he had/has an account there, I am not on the account, therefore ultimately they can't tell me anything until things go through the court system, I understand that now. The problem is I had to call a branch in South Carolina with competent employees to tell me this, I called the Ardmore branch on a Thursday, they said someone would call me back, fast forward to the next Monday, still hadn't heard anything so I physically went there talked to a teller, they said someone would call me back that day, never happened. Called the next day (Tuesday, if you are keeping count) and got fairly rude, asked to talk to the branch manager, finally someone called me back. She was nice but by no means the branch manager, I gave them the appropriate paperwork at that time to get things moving as far as my father's estate was concerned (figured I'd hear something from them later that week). Fast forward again to the next Tuesday a full week later, still nothing that is when a made a phone call to corporate (or so I thought) was actually a branch in SC where someone actually took the time to call corporate, and called me back within a hour with the info I needed to know. I don't know what the deal is with this location, but when going through a situation like I am, I feel they should be more than accommodating, like the people in SC, instead I feel like they treated me like some crack head (actually not even that, like I didn't exist, and that my difficult situation was of zero importance or a priority to them). I live a 1000 miles away from this place and really needed/need things to play out in a timely manner. I really don't have time for nonsense, the customer service here is abhorred (the fact I'm taking time to write this review while dealing with my father's passsing, should be an indication to anyone reading this how bad this branch is run). Who ever is in charge of this branch should without doubt be fired, I have no idea who that is because they won't even take 5 minutes out of their "busy" day to call the son of a deceased account holder, who has a significant amount of money in said account. You'd be better off having some bum on S. Washington street hold your money for you, at least maybe you'd be able locate and talk to them. Seriously what a joke, don't know how this bank is in business. That's all, vented what I needed to, hope it might help any readers in the future.
