Very pleased after being very upset. Simple misunderstanding on my behalf and the staff went over and beyond my following visit. Very pleased to have them in our community.

THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. THROUGH OUT THE WHOLE DAY YOU EXPECT US TO BELIEVE YOUR BUSY WITH CUSTOMERS AND CANT TAKE OUR PHONE CALLS, OR CALL BACK?

What a joke of a financial institution... my father passed away, he had/has an account there, I am not on the account, therefore ultimately they can't tell me anything until things go through the court system, I understand that now. The problem is I had to call a branch in South Carolina with competent employees to tell me this, I called the Ardmore branch on a Thursday, they said someone would call me back, fast forward to the next Monday, still hadn't heard anything so I physically went there talked to a teller, they said someone would call me back that day, never happened. Called the next day (Tuesday, if you are keeping count) and got fairly rude, asked to talk to the branch manager, finally someone called me back. She was nice but by no means the branch manager, I gave them the appropriate paperwork at that time to get things moving as far as my father's estate was concerned (figured I'd hear something from them later that week). Fast forward again to the next Tuesday a full week later, still nothing that is when a made a phone call to corporate (or so I thought) was actually a branch in SC where someone actually took the time to call corporate, and called me back within a hour with the info I needed to know. I don't know what the deal is with this location, but when going through a situation like I am, I feel they should be more than accommodating, like the people in SC, instead I feel like they treated me like some crack head (actually not even that, like I didn't exist, and that my difficult situation was of zero importance or a priority to them). I live a 1000 miles away from this place and really needed/need things to play out in a timely manner. I really don't have time for nonsense, the customer service here is abhorred (the fact I'm taking time to write this review while dealing with my father's passsing, should be an indication to anyone reading this how bad this branch is run). Who ever is in charge of this branch should without doubt be fired, I have no idea who that is because they won't even take 5 minutes out of their "busy" day to call the son of a deceased account holder, who has a significant amount of money in said account. You'd be better off having some bum on S. Washington street hold your money for you, at least maybe you'd be able locate and talk to them. Seriously what a joke, don't know how this bank is in business. That's all, vented what I needed to, hope it might help any readers in the future.

Their phone answering system is atrocious. You wade through menus then get transferred only to be told to hang up and call a new number where you wade through another menu only to reach a voicemail where you repeatedly leave voicemails that are not returned.

Good bank but they NEVER answer the phone. MTC, if you see this, PLEASE have someone there to answer phone calls.

Very disappointed with my recent encounter I had with my bank. They suspected fraud activity on my debit card so they froze my account(and didnt call and tell me) so when i went to use my card it got declined and I had no idea why.. this was on Friday. On Saturday I went to the bank and tried to use it and they retained my card! So i called them Monday morning and asked them what was going on and they told me it would be 2 weeks before I got a new card. and my bank is 2 hours away from where I live so I have no money for 2 weeks now... I would like a phone call next time they suspect something!!!!

Getting someone to answer your phone call is quite a chore.

They will charge you fees for "bad address". Then they will charge you fees for having a low balance as a result of these "bad address" fees. I never received my debit card after opening my account.I have been waiting until I can close this horrible account due to the fact that if you close too soon, you guessed it, they charge you more fees.People deserve to keep their hard earned money somewhere better. Don't bank here.
