Client Review on Merchant One, Inc.

Consruction company owner here. If I could give negative stars I would. It started out great. They were super helpful while signing up but after that it went downhill very fast. The first 3 transactions went ok but then we made a transaction for $9,275.00. We waited for 5 days for them to put it in our acct. After the 5th buisness day still nothing, so we call them to see what's going on and at that time we were informed we went over our transaction limit. That was the first time we were even informed about a limit. So we ask what needs done to release our funds. They asked for the records of the last 3 months of company bank account. (Which made no sense. We are paying them to process credit card payments and put money into our account not review my bank record) We obliged and they said it would take a day or 2 to review and then we could get our money. After 2 days we call them and now they want copies of every invoice. We obliged. After 2 more days they asked for copies of every contract. After 2 more days we called and told them if you dont get this straight today we are done with them and I'd find someone else who will process our payment. A manager then gets on and tells us we have 2 options. Option 1. Refund the money to my client and terminate our relationship with merchant one. Option 2. Let them hold my 9275.00 for 3 months. We chose option 2. They send us paperwork showing they refunded money and my client just had to wait 7 days for it to post and then he could pay us with a check. After 7 days it still wasn't even pending in his account. We call merchant one and the lady tells us it's been refunded already. I say no way and ask for a manager. Manager gets on and tells us that they never actually refunded our money. (Even though they sent papers via email that said the refund was completed on their end.) Now we have to open our account again and redo the refund. Over this entire process there were about 4 times we were put on hold saying they would be right back and never came back. I waited up to an hour and was just left on hold. I still have not received my money and it's been 3 weeks now. They are nothing but thieves. Find a different company to process your cards if you actually want to see your money.Update: After I posted this review I was contacted by Marc. He actually worked to get my refund processed to my client so I could get paid. If it wasn't for him I honestly am not sure this would be resolved. Turns out a partner company named World Pay was the source of all my problems. He fought with them on my behalf to get the situation resolved. If you have any problems you need to speak to Marc if you want it to be resolved.
