No matter how informed you keep the staff of when you are making a payment they hound you and treat you like a criminal until you call in to report a payment and mind you this is on the due date - you aren't even late yet. Also they want to keep getting your 100% plus interest rate so they arent in the business to provide a timely payoff quote and avoid you until you have to go to extremes to get their attention. I asked for payoff quotes a few different occasions where you have to leave a message. They state the will return your call within 2 hours. I had to email a corporate email to get a reply after speaking with someone 2 times that same day on my most recent and last attempt of paying them off.. Even the corporate people were confrontational in their email asking the dates and times I requested the other payoffs. At that point I dont have that info handy so just run your business professionally, and that wont be an issue you have to defend against, Maximum. The entire 4 month experience was the worst decision I ever made, and it didnt help that it started with the rep at the Mesa branch who was condescending and entirely transparently friendly who treated me like I was stupid and didn't understand interest. She repeatedly kept asking me if I understood, and it was so condescending she left me with such a bad taste for the reputation of this company right off the bat. She asked if I would take a survey as I was leaving and she would email me - lucky for her she forgot to email. Over the course of the next 4 months she took joy in sending harassing texts days before and on the due date until you made the payment. Many times I had to tell her to back off I am at work and plan to do this on a break. God forbid hard times ever come around again; I would never return to maximum title. And in all fairness I can acknowledge positive qualities as well. They had 2 redeeming qualities, they had a friendly and knowledgeable gentleman working on the payments line who seemed totally capable of providing payoff info when others would not return a call. Also when I went back to the Mesa branch to make the payoff, the gal helping me was friendly, professional, and relayed all info about how they release the title and when to expect it back. She was fast and courteous and is a good balance to the nightmare gal that originally helped me. You will be better off making other arrangements than resorting to this service so I wish anyone the best that feels they have to do this, and if it is the route you intend to go then do your research before choosing Maximum.
