Overall Feedback:

I acquired a home loan through Matt Allen. I've purchased several homes and this transaction was unremarkable in terms of customer service. Certainly after I'd paid the closing fees, and dealt with being treated so poorly by Caliber's general customer service, Matt no longer had interest in helping me. You may have a loan officer who is helpful and reassuring in the beginning, and who sends you a $20 Starbucks gift card as a thank you in the end, but is that flimsy offer of appreciation worth 30 years of poor customer service ahead? Not to me.
