Client Review on Kings Point Auto

Feedback:

Went to see a car that was advertised as "immaculate showroom condition". Was advertised $2k above blue book top price, so figures this was an amazing car to look at and could negotiate the price to something reasonable. Got there at opening time and the owner was 20 minutes late opening the location. Said he would be out with the car in 5 minutes because it was inside being detailed. Had to wait an additional 15 minutes for him to bring the car out. When he did, the car was in awful condition. Within literally 2 seconds of seeing the car I saw a huge 2-3 inch dent in the very middle of the door. Closer inspection showed more dents and dings all over the car. One side mirror had so many 1-2cm chips completely gouged out that it would need to be completely repainted. He said he could fix it all for under $200, but if that was all he was spending and him lying about the condition of the car, I know the fix-it work would be sub-par. The final straw was him saying, "well this *is* showroom quality as far as a used car is concerned." Walked away from that with not more than a few more words exchanged. Unless you are super close and can go see the car you are interested in with little time wasted, this dealership is not worth the drive.
