I was approached by a member of my administration with an idea to assist in supporting my struggling readers. I submitted my proposal to the Initiative Foundation and was granted the funds to purchase a product that would enhance their reading independence. I requested one item for a trial run but was told by the committee to contact them if found successful to request further funds to purchase additional supplies.
