Its good that I was able to call your office through your landline number but each time I call I have to spend over 100 pesos just to ask for a simple question.. When can you ever have a landbased number that can be called through regular landbased phone?? Now that PLDT changed and updated numbers?? How can I then reach you?? I googled the updated number but it still shows your old number. I tried adding the number 8 before the phone number but it says I have dialed the wrong number.. what should I do?? Why is it so hard to reach your customer service??

Feedback:

HSBC is the last bank in the Philippines where you can get cash from the ATM without a charge of 200p.So to all foreigners: get your cash here!

Update: 06/03/2019Finally, my account has been opened today. This was as a result of the intercession by VP, Retail Branch Head. Actually, I'm very impressed on how HSBC Philippines upper management handled my application process. They really made an effort to help me resolve my concerns and provided me with all the information necessary to include the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) documentation requirements for peso deposits of non-residents. For these reasons, I'm upgrading my rating from 1-star to 5-star. Way to go HSBC BGC!Previous comments:HSBC BGC Branch is the worst bank I have even experienced dealing with! In preparation for my retirement in the Philippines, my home country, my wife and I decided to open our HSBC savings account to compliment with our existing HSBC account in the United States and to facilitate future wire transfers between HSBC accounts. To my disappointment, it's been over 7 weeks since we applied and still not approve. After submitting our US Passports and US Driver's licenses, they still want us to provide my wife's identification when she was single, and proof of my name showing full middle name (i.e., my mother's maiden name). Every time we submit one document, they will demand additional document. Week after week they kept on adding their requirements. I thought passport and driver's license should be more than enough to identify a person's identification. Can a HSBC manager explain this to me why are you so difficult to deal with? FYI, it took me less than one hour to open my account with HSBC USA.

So few clients yet so long time on queue. You can count on one hand the number of people on line. What's wrong with this premiere bank.
