I have been a member for 10+ years and love the personal & friendly yet big bank service from HFCU, and kudos especially to Shawn Jiwani, the best Loan Officer! Very knowledgeable, always returns my calls in a timely manner, and all the qualities you expect from a true professional.

As many financial bumps in the road that I have hit, the account service representatives at HFCU have extended grace and compassion, bending over backwards to accommodate me, thus alleviating fears of closing out my account or imposing hefty penalties that most other institutions may have been insensitive to. My only regret is that I didn’t partner up with this CU years earlier! HFCU, you better get used to seeing me around ‘cause I ain’t goin' nowhere!!!! I’m

I've been a member since 2012 and my experience was ok up until today. I hadn't used this account since 2016 so I went online to make a transfer and I saw that I was charged a bad address fee. I call to see what it was and to see if it could get reversed because I had updated my address through USPS when I moved 2 years ago. Keep in mind that they have been sending mail to my current address. I spoke with someone who said that they couldn't do anything because the charge was valid even though I have no charge over the Postal system.

Worst Bank ever haven’t had it open not even a month and I can’t cash my checks I have to wait 7 days before they can be cleared. How ridiculous is that, I can’t even close the account I have because I’m not the primary holder. I guess joint account means nothing, only the primary holder can remove me or close the account. What the heck this bank serves me no purpose just crazy and ridiculous. Not to mention their site is terrible, was locked out. My personal info was not added correctly when I opened the account so bank was unable to help me over the phone. In order for them to correct that, I have to once again show proof of my identity and take that to the bank. Never again will I ever step foot into this place. If you need fast cash and I mean your checks cashed ASAP without the wait you gotta at least be a member for 90 days. I don’t recommend this hot mess at all.

This is by far one of the best banks I’ve ever known. The only issue I had was that I had my card blocked by the bank for suspicious activity and I couldn’t fix it over the phone and had to go in the next morning. But otherwise, this place is great!! They truly care about their members.
