God forbid you lose a debit card or someone hacks your account. It takes over a month to get a replacement. It has happened to me twice now. At other credit unions they create new cards on site and you have the replacement before you leave. Finding a new credit union because of this!

Had to switch to a different company because they lock my card every month. I’m in the military and I travel often is what I told them so they said it would be no problem. Horrible.

This place has been with me since I was a kid. I look at all the negative reviews posted below, and i cant understand why this place would get a bad review. All the way from the top this place is and always has been solid. They couldn't pay me to leave and go somewhere else, I truly mean that. As for the staff I work with 1 person, and 1 person only "Joel" hes told me no and hes told me yes. Hes done more for me then just tell me to save money, or cash a check, or open a savings account. He took the time to get to know me and continues to go above and beyond to make sure i never feel like a forgotten member of this bank. Now on to management. They say it starts at the top. Kathy the president leads by example, she takes time to get to know her members as well. She also works as a teller on occasion and has personally cashed checks of mine. I had a concern with my account a couple months back and Instead of a manager calling to handle the concern she called me personally. Again leading by example is not taken lightly with Kathy.Bottom Line is this. If you are looking for a Credit Union that will get to know you on a personal level, go above and beyond just taking and storing your money. This is the place to be. Anyone that says otherwise is crazy wrong. Thanks to everyone at Heartland that has made my experience great.

Always very friendly people, always loved banking here but was a little disappointed when they cleaned out my savings and checking about BEFORE telling me they were going to do it to pay on a loan that was in default that I co-signed on. I understand, but the least they could have done was tell me so I wouldn't write out checks that would bounce!

I really like this credit union it's nice inside and out plus the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The manager is outstanding here as well. Planning to do more business here as a result. Thanks!

My boyfriend and I have been going through heartland for years and had no problems until today we went to order him a new card since his wasn’t working in most places due to it being so worn out and dirty from working in construction, the lady who helped us we have never seen before and she questioned him about his card and when he told her she responded with “well most places use chip” and he replied that at the gas stations his swipe doesn’t work and she goes under her breath “well most gas stations have chip so..” I’m sorry but very unprofessional and rude. Where did the other lady’s go that worked there?? Clearly he’s used his card too many times and it not working which is why he wanted to order a new one. So sad how one person can ruin your whole experience.
